My husband and my children were eating at Pizza Pizza which is right next to Lazeez Shawarma. My husband was using the bathroom where the woman at the cashier was knocking on the bathroom door for him to get out of the washroom. He exited the washroom in a timely manner and my daughter then went in as she urgently needed to go. The woman at the cashier then knocked on the door again stating "get out, you were in there more than 20 minutes". The employee at Shawarma needed to use the bathroom urgently. My husband approached her then stating why she was yelling at my daughter. He advised her that he was in there first and then it was my daughter that went in. She then started to yell at my husband that someone was in there for 20 minutes which was untrue. It the person who needed to use the bathroom so badly waited outside of the door, he would have been able to use it. Unfortunately, he needed a woman to help him use the bathroom. Secondly, there is two bathrooms in the facility, the second bathroom looks like it is being used for storage and was out of commission for many months, if this would have been available, there would be no issues. My daughter was scared when she did this and I would like action to be taken for this experience. This is not professional and unrespectful to customers. Lastly, there is some equipment near the bathroom that appears to be unsanitary for a food complex and I believe a health inspector should come and take a look at the place. My family and I will never step foot into this location again and I do believe that I see really good reviews for other establishments in the area within the same nature. However, this location is very rude and does not treat customers with respect. I would be very hesitant to eat here. It is a shame that people have to react in this nature upsetting their customers at a place of dining. I would like to give credit to the manager at the Pizza Pizza, he was understanding and saw the situation as a whole and responded logically. I hope this does not happen again where when someone needs the bathroom, they are pushed out and yelled at. I will be looking into submitting a routine inspection of this establishment with Health Canada. Shame on you for yelling at a 11 year old. We are disgusted by this action. The employee should not be working there anymore for her aggressive tone to...
Read moreI would like to start off that I usually I like to give a restaurant a few chances before coming to a conclusion about my experiences with them. Some background info about me; I'm a little bit of a foodie but nothing beats a good old shawarma for dinner and this is exactly the predicament I found myself in this evening.
After ordering from this Lazeez 4-5 times, it is safe to say that this will be the last time I order from this chain again and I advise everyone else to do the same if you care about what you eat.
Every time I've ordered from this Lazeez, they have managed to give me the wrong/mess up my order without fail. I've ordered a multitude of items ranging from the wraps, shawarma and even the chicken poutine and every time I've left disappointed with their food quality and service. Whether it be missing items, incorrect orders, or even just plain making my order wrong, I've managed to be let down every single time I've come to this restaurant. Even with expectations low, they somehow manage to lower their standard with each visit I make. Specifically when it comes to the food, I have certain dietary restrictions and when I've asked for specific accommodations for my food, the workers blatantly have ignored or even refused to create the order as I've asked. I'm not sure if it is a communication issue, or just plain negligence but rest assured, I've gotten their message loud and clear and will steer away from this location for the rest of my life.
If you're looking for a place that actually cares about how they make their shawarma, I'd recommend avoiding this location and going to one of the multitude of other spots that I've had better experiences in. Osmows, Shawarma Royale, Roman Zaman are all within a 5 minute drive from this location and I promise you that you will not regret taking the extra time to go to a place that actually cares about their food and service.
All in all, I wish there was a way I could give a 0 star or negative rating because quite honestly, this was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant I've ever been to in my life. You wouldn't even be able to pay for me to consume the food at this restaurant ever again. Avoid this spot at all costs and you can thank me later.

Let me tell you, folks, finding a good shawarma place is like striking gold. But finding a good shawarma place with a server who makes you feel like royalty? That's a miracle. That's why I gotta sing the praises of Lazeez, and especially Nikhil Khanal who works there!
First off, the shawarma. The meat? Perfectly seasoned, cooked to juicy perfection. The veggies? Fresh, crisp, and bursting with flavor. The wraps? Pillowy soft and ready to cradle all that deliciousness. But here's the thing: every shawarma place has that.
What Lazeez has that makes it legendary is Nikhil. This guy isn't just a server, he's a shawarma sherpa, guiding you through the menu with the enthusiasm of a ten-year-old on Christmas morning. He remembers your usual order after two visits (seriously, it's like he has a mental shawarma rolodex!), recommends the perfect sauce pairings, and even throws in a friendly joke or two to make your lunch break a laugh riot.
I'm telling you, Nikhil has got the moves. He anticipates your every need, and somehow manages to keep the entire restaurant running smoothly while making you feel like the only customer there.
Let's be honest, sometimes you go to a restaurant and just feel like a number. At Lazeez, thanks to Nikhil, you feel like family... the kind of family that serves up the most incredible shawarma you've ever tasted. So do yourself a favor and head down to Lazeez Shwarma at Grand Park Dr. Ask for Nikhil, and prepare to have your shawarma experience taken to a...
