Kung Fu Tea on Winston Churchill (Mississauga) — Restaurant in Mississauga

Full disclosure: I have a signature bubble tea 🧋 shop that I've been faithful to for years. That being said I've driven by this place multiple times since its been open, always tempted but never once giving it a chance.

Today I decided to remedy this and popped in for a taste test. First of all the two young ladies on shift were friendly. They greeted me and politely waited as I went over the menu.

One explained the size variances and what their popular menu items were. I explained I had never been before and as such I has a plethora of questions which were answered. She implored me to take my time and not rush. *Appreciated

I was a bit disappointed they don't do smoothies. They however do slush and tea. *Hubby wanted a smoothie.

I ended up ordering a large Passionfruit Green Tea and switched out the lychee pearls for tapioca pearls. As I waited thinking I was through she asked? "Regular sugar?"

I had completely forgotten to include this detail and was very surprised and actually grateful I was reminded. I ordered it with NO sugar.

Took mere minutes, very quick. And it was delicious 😋

I especially loved that the tapioca pearls were nice and warm....it added a really nice nuanced balance to the coldness of the tea at the top.

Flavour wise you could really taste the clean taste of the green tea, and the sweetness slightly tartness of the passionfruit came through beautifully. I enjoy these drinks sans sugar so I can really taste the flavours and I wasn't disappointed in the least.

That being said, my favourite shop will continue to be my favourite BUT, I see many amazing flavours and various combination drinks here that my shop doesn't offer 🫣😌

Came here for their grand opening after accidentally walking in a week before during their Staff On-boarding meeting WHOOPS.

Staff was very friendly. A Nice and clean location. They have great options and the price is about what you would expect for a bubble tea. They also have Ice Cream and these cool Waffle Cones (See Second image).

I have been here 3 times now. Every time I try something new and it's great. They don't always have a TON of staff which causes quite the line but that is also a factor of every time I go, the person in front of me is ordering for a family of 69 people and hey, that happens and is no one's fault.

Nice new Bubble Tea place, gotta get tapioca for sure. Try it out and if you don't like it then don't talk to me because we can't be friends.

It is with great disappointment I leave this review. I am a regular here, often come with my children or do kingfu tea runs at work but tonights order at 21:15 just didn't even come close to what I've received before...ugggg who made this catastrophe? I can't even drink it, it tastes horrible. I got a large pearl milk tea and from my first sip I made up my face with disgust, everyone I was with could tell something was wrong and I've been trying real real hard to sip it down for the past 45 minutes but I had to stop, it doesn't have any sweetness at all, its just pure bitterness, even the tapioca pearls taste bland. What happened to the drink that's my go to and always tastes amazing?!? Smh too far away now to go back to have them remake it...tonights visit was definitely not worth my time or money, into the...
