Update: 11/10/2025 - So, the reply to this review is correct. A maintenance technician did arrive at my unit today, fixed the issues and will be returning Wednesday to take care of the issues I’m having with the various pests. He did show up without notice, mind you and called me while I was at work asking to be let in but I digress. I’m glad these things are being taken care of after quite a few emails and three phone calls.
I understand things happen on a priority basis and InterRent takes care of multiple properties. It just would’ve been nice to be kept in the loop with updates. Truthfully, I do like living here. I like the area and the unit, and I do hope communication on the management side can go much smoother in the future!

I wanted to wait a little bit before reviewing. I’ve lived in the towers for less than a month and this is my honest review.
The units are nice. Updated, clean, quiet. Because the building doesn’t face the road, you don’t get the noise of traffic.
That being said, I do wish I did a little bit more research before moving in.
The wait time for maintenance requests is egregious. I put in a request on October 21st and even after multiple phone calls requesting some kind of update, no one has attended or reached out.
Which brings me to my next point: pests. The building suffers from an infestation of pharaoh ants and silver fish. Silver fish are expected in apartments but I’d never dealt with pharaoh ants before moving in here. I’ve reached out to management directly multiple times in regards to this but haven’t heard a word. That being said as well, I encountered my first roach since living here. Which as everyone knows, poses more of a health risk to people and pets. Something needs to be done about the pests on this property. The building needs to be looked after. Due to the lack of response from management, my next step may be to contact the LTB.
Before the building comments on this review asking me to reach out to customer service or call them, I’ve done that. Multiple times to no avail.
The building really is nice. I love my unit. It’s just a shame that there’s no reason maintenance team or office staff on site you can speak to when you have a problem. Everything is done through the app or via email, which doesn’t seem to...

I appreciate how the customer service reached out to me to remedy the situation highlighted in my initial review, and am persuaded to revise my opinion. I love organizations that learn, own up to the need for improvement, and are responsive to customers' feedback.

I have lived here since 19th June 2018, and I have mixed feelings about living here. While I like the location of this apartment, I don’t like the unit where I live. It does really get hot and humid during the summer, and there are no electric fans installed in any of the rooms except the living room which does have an antiquated and a small AC installed. The AC makes so much noise that you turn it on only when you feel forced to because of the heat.
The rental prices in this apartment have gone through the roof in recent months. The customer service sucks for the rental prices that the CLV group( owner of the Lakeshore Apartments) charges to the tenants. The group seems to be good in marketing( selling the units) but not customer service. My grievance with this group is that they don’t pay heed to my maintenance request. My bathtub has an uneven floor ,and it doesn’t drain off water completely. The accumulation of water poses a safety hazard to me and my family. In spite of my numerous requests, they haven’t done the necessary repairs. It seems that the property management doesn’t care for the maintenance standards defined in the Ontario Residential Tenancies act.
Recently, I also suffered inconveniences owing to the never-ending construction work in the underground garage parking. They made a heavy weather of the construction work, constantly asking us to adjust our parking to the construction schedule. There are few parking slots for visitors. I have had instances when my visitors had to park at the nearby library.
On the brighter side, it is situated in the really nice neighborhood of the Meadowvale village in Mississauga. The Meadowvale Library and community center is right next door as is the Lake Aquitaine park. The trails in the park are beautiful.
However, I would recommend highly that you explore other apartments in the neighborhood before commiting to a...
Read moreI had a great rental experience. The customer care coordinator at Lakeshore Apts, Ian D'Souza went above and beyond, to help us with our rental. We were moving to the GTA from another region in Ontario and house hunting remotely in the GTA during this Covid season was proving quite difficult.I contacted the rental office via the property website and Ian responded immediately. We had a great chat, about what kind of property we were looking for. Ian followed up immediately by sending pictures of the Apt on email. The following day he wrote to enquire whether we would like a tour of the house via whatsup video, to which we immediately said Yes. He took time to give us a whatsup video tour of the actual apt, which was great we were able to gauge the condition of the Apt accurately. We were not sure at that time how long it would take us to relocate because we were renting in another CLV property outside the GTA. Ian volunteered to have his manager put in a good word for us, so that perhaps we could have our lease transferred. That was not possible in CLV policies, however Ian was persistent and offered us a deal that enabled us not to lose any rental monies. We came to physically view the property, Ian was very courteous and accommodating as we were running late coming into town, he showed us around, told us about the neighborhood and he was so friendly and helpful, that after our visit with him, we pretty much decided we would take the apartment, because of the kind of wonderful customer service we received from him. He set up all the arrangements for us to do the rental application smoothly and remotely, he followed up every step of the way, always checking that we were comfortable with everything. In these uncertain times of the pandemic, we were treated with Kindness and a High level of Professionalism and Understanding by Ian D'Souza and that is something we do not take for granted. Thank you Ian! CLV should be proud to have such a...
