BEFORE WRITING THIS REVIEW, I already had ordered food from Osmow’s more then 50 times. But this time, I went there to pickup my food, while ordering I specifically requested “HOT” spice level. The girl by the name “Noor” was preparing my order I told her too to make it HOT as last time it wasn’t up to my spice level and rice was all dry. She dint even bothered to listen as she was constantly chit chatting with her colleagues!!! As soon I went home realized that it’s not at all hot not even medium!! I called them and she was ver very Ill mannered and arguing constantly!! She is pathetic person to talk to!!! I took my food box went there straight and requested them to taste if the Oder is HOT or not. She was like “ITS NOT AT ALL OUR FAULT, AND WE DONT NEED TO REFUND OR MAKE A NEW FOOD” she constantly kept on arguing instead of apologizing!!!! Prabhjot and other Indian guy were polite and they said sorry. But NOOR she doesn’t have any sense how to talk or handle customer service!!!! She was very very adamant and unapologetic!! If you guys are serving food make sure to provide with a smile. Not asking for much!!! And never ever tell “NOOR” to prepare your order because she will definitely ruin!! As she is busy chit chatting with other people and in her own world and not listening to what the customer is saying!!!!!! Not at all happy and extremely disappointed!! In last we have to order the food from other restaurant!!
People like “NOOR” doesn’t have any sense or doesn’t have any hospitality qualities!! She is pathetic!! This is not how hospitality operates!!!! You guys should consider these feedback as a...
Read moreI went to the Osmow's on Living Arts drive and had a bad experience. I have over the last year or so visited the streetsville location and have always received great service. I never write reviews online about food establishments, however, this experience really justified me wasting a good 15 minutes to let the world know. I ordered a medium/regular chicken on the sticks (hot). I looked over at the fries and they looked like they had been sitting there for awhile. After ordering I asked the arab guy who I always see there taking orders (might be owner) has a mad face all the time like he hates his life or something and takes it out on the customers. I asked him if I could get fresh fries and the guy looks over at me like I just swore at him or something and the first thing out of his mouth was everything is fresh. I'm never one to complain and never want to be a customer that just nit picks small things. I didn't even argue with him and just moved over to receive my order. I grab my food and sit down with my friend I came with. I start to eat my food and long behold the fries were ice cold. I didn't even complain to the guy because again I'm not trying to cause a scene but I'm a paying customer and if I saw the fries looked cold as hell and asked for fresh fries as a business owner who sells food you should be like sure why not and not look at your customers like they're brain dead with no common sense. This place is a mess and gives Osmow's a bad name. I will be never returning to this location I rather go to streetsville...
Read moreI wanted to rate it 2.5 stars but that's not an option. It's a good place. Just one thing wrong. They won't listen to me. Every time I order a chicken shawarma I always ask for extra extra (2 times extra) garlic sauce and it costs an extra 50 cents. I literally say "extra extra garlic sauce, 2 times extra" and I hold up 2 fingers. Even so, 9/10 times there is barely any garlic sauce and I pay 50 cents extra for no reason. It honestly ruins the whole shawarma for me. I need that moisture! I think today might be the last time I'll ever try with them again. It was just so disappointing because I live in Hamilton and eat here because it's right next to my college. I've been craving it for months over the summer. FOR MONTHS! And this is what I get. On more than one occasion I asked for extra extra (2 times extra) garlic sauce and an older staff member who was taking my order literally said to me "you don't need it." I had to insist to put it on and he did so under protest. Why the judgement? I ask you, why?
It is a good place. The simple fact that they won't give me extra garlic sauce is what ruins it for me. I am sorry for leaving a bad review, but I am too shy to say anything to the staff and I have become bitter. The 1/10 times they have complied with my order, it was an amazing experience. I wish I could get that experience every time.
Edit: I think I was too harsh in my original review so I bumped...
