The price of croissants has beeb raised a while ago like everything else, but the real issue is with the chocolate ones.

They have different personalities throughout the week, sometimes they are big and tasty, other times they are small, greasy, look and taste like stale danish and cause acidity and nausea.

It’s like having a frenemy with two personalities, with the latter showing up a lot more to test your taste buds’ patience, or having a lousy narcissistic one who is lacking consistency in annoying you with the calories so they decide to spice it up every once in a while and have a different shape as well.

I wouldn’t blame the bakers, apparently it’s a store thing.

For the price I would expect you to at least use real milk butter instead of margarine and cheap fats. Never...

We've been coming here for a while, whenever we wanted something easy but elegant to bring somewhere, or if we wanted a nice breakfast on a "much cheaper than eating out" budget. Scones and pastries are fantastic every time.

However - the reason for my review - we recently had some issues with our credit card working (or rather not working) on their system. I'll spare you the details, but these people really went above and beyond in making sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction, and that we felt taken care of in the process. They took a frustrating situation (through no fault of their own) and turned it into a net positive experience.

Customer service is of huge importance to me; I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else for our freshly baked goods. Thank you Cobs...

Sucks that when I placed my order first, for the last 2 berry white scones left and was getting 4 more other scones after, because she advised me to get 6 to save from taxes. The customer beside me orders after for the same thing and other scones. But because my server was changing boxes, because she thought I was only getting two. She was slow and didn't get it for me in time. Ended up being told oh sorry but a customer placed an order for them already..... Was somewhat a frequent shopper here but something like that makes me lose interest in coming back. Didn't care to fuss or make a big deal out of it in store, but felt that this should be mentioned. Because this can also be looked at as treating your customers...
