For this being my first time at this restaurant the quality of the service was awful...Two of the four orders were made incorrect and we only noticed once we got home. My husband ordered beef and rice and received fat noodles, battered chicken with rice at the bottom so it was clear that he received a left over portion of someone else’s order. My order was shrimp, noodles and tofu however I had no shrimp. Given that this evening was on our friends’ bill as they were treating us to our first Thai meal, they felt really bad and we returned back to the location.
Once we returned, the clerk dumped my rice dish on a plate to see if the shrimp was in the box. Once he emptied the whole container, there were 3 shrimp at the very bottom, and because of that he said he would ONLY remake my husbands’ meal and he would scrape my meal back into a container from the plate. At this point, we have now spent time and money to come back to the locations, one meal is completely wrong, one meal is made half incorrectly, and two are cold, thus, reasonably we asked to have all 4 meals remade given the large error with no refund. The clerk refused. Without making a scene, our friend then requested her refund and we went elsewhere. This was a roughly $40-dollar bill (there was a coupon used).
I am not one to complain, but I have worked my fair share of customer service jobs in my years and how these boys handled the situation was disturbing. Not to mention the other staff laughing in the background. I am disgusted at the fact that these are the people that are representing the franchise at this location. All the staff had to have done was remake the meals, kept the money, you would have still profited and we would have taken the mistake with a grain of salt. However, now, not only did they refund the money, but 4 meals are wasted and the experience has left a sour taste in our mouths. Not to mention there is a very high chance that none of us, as well as our friends will ever return to this location. Read moreI went in today to order my usually vegetable pad Thai. I hence the word vegetable. The owner who took my order was extremely rude. I asked for no tofu and egg in my meal and said I would like extra vegetables instead. She said there was an extra charge. I order this meal all the time but it was the first time at this location and I have never been charged more. I didn’t agree to the charge and she charged me anyways. I asked her for a refund she charged the extra cost on and said I would take the regular portion of vegetables. What I got served was noodles and a maybe two pieces of vegetables. She was literally counting pieces. At least if someone orders a meal they should be given the regular portion. This was not the case and I took it back. She respond that she gave me more spouts which she didn’t charge me for like she was doing me a favour. The Man who way cooking had put my vegetables to cook which was a normal amount and she went back and took it out. Terrible. He looked like he was so uncomfortable because he saw what she did. A note to the owner, you should not own a franchise if you are counting pennies and don’t give customers what they pay for and deserve. One more thing to mention is that my bill came up to $13.08 and I received $12.50 back. Then she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my receipt back and if I ate from the food. Why would you ask if I ate from the food because you were going to serve someone else it? Gross. I am in customer service and I truly do not understand how she is in business. Read moreI've wasted countless time, gas, and money on this place. At first around 8 months ago I would've given it a 3/5 compared to other locations. Mainly because there were Thailand people working and cooking, which is normally how it's supposed to be, they know their food and how to prepare it. For at least 2 months I've been going to this Thai express every time I visit Mississauga, Service is alright, nothing to rave about considering they're Indian, but I didn't care about their race, I came for the food, I'm fed up at this point they've always messed up my order in some way shape or form, when I say red curry they make yellow, or green, When I want spice they don't add anything. The fact that they don't speak English very well and speak Indian could be the issue, communication is horrible then. Tonight was the last straw, I decided to go with a Pad Thai considering I've had my curry chicken orders messed, I'm thinking how can you mess up Pad thai, it's just noodles! Oh well this location did, I ordered a Spicy Pad Thai, with no vegi just the chicken. Guess what I find laced throughout my meal? Beansprout, I literally cant eat that, and would rather have had the vegi at this point, I had no dinner, last night and will be back with my complaint, and they will have to make me a new meal, if they deny i'll call their Manager, enough is enough.
