16Dec23: Had a burrito bowl here and requested lettuce. HALF my bowl was lettuce, this was way too much. It was the base for everything, and the lettuce was soggy and made the whole bowl taste bitter. Would request less lettuce in the future.
25Aug23: Came in for a Thursday lunch. It was good, but not as great as 14Aug23. Not enough veggies/meat in my burrito bowl.
14Aug23: Came for a Monday lunch. Pulled Pork burrito bowl. Delicious bowl, everything was right. I had the mango salsa (sign says it's made fresh here), sour cream, chipotle salsa, and substituted cheese for guac. Amazing time today. I'm going to have to come on a Monday lunch more often here.
23July23 visit: Yet another disappointing visit. My bowl was only half full. There were hardly any veggies, rice or anything. What is going on with this location? Will be complaining to head office and I urge others who are dissatisfied with the portion size to do the same.
21May23 visit: Ordered 2 pulled pork burrito bowls. Mine had all veggies except for lettuce, and 5 dots for spiciness. I had the new Mango salsa (came with mango chunks this time, great, please keep it up) and Chipotle salsa + burrito sauce. However, my bowl was lacking in other veggies, and it was majority rice. Maybe it was because of the Victoria Day weekend and supplies were running low? But any other weekend - please do not rip me off with a over 50% rice bowl. If this becomes a repeat thing, I will be complaining to head office.
7May23 visit: Ordered 3 pulled pork burrito bowls. Mine had all veggies except for lettuce, and 5 dots for spiciness. I had the new Mango salsa and Chipotle salsa + burrito sauce. Tasted great, I really like the mango salsa, the flavour adds a nice depth to the bowls. Please keep it up!
2April23 visit: Ordered 3 pulled pork burrito bowls, 2 with lettuce. They are using plastic containers now (fine, as long as the portion sizes remain the same). However, you are way overfilling the bowls with lettuce, and skimping on the meats and guac. Annoying tbh. Asides from that, the pulled pork texture and flavour tastes back to the original recipe now.
X +2 experience: Oct 22, 2022 - ordered 3 pulled pork burrito bowls for my family during lunch time. They were terrible. The pulled pork consistency was too pulled and thin - horrible texture and mouth feel. My entire family agreed. Also, the pulled pork portions were so thin on the box. It didn't fill a section, it was just a thin layer on top of the beans. It tasted terrible and the portion size was underwhelming. Please fix your pulled pork quality control and quantity control at this location. Terrible customer experience.
Excellent service, fresh ingredients. I usually order the chicken, pulled pork, or steak burrito bowls.
X +1th experience: Hadn't grabbed Burrito Boyz in a long time. Got 2 x pulled pork burrito bowls for my family, and 1 x steak burrito bowl for myself. All with guac. Ratios were great, not too much lettuce. But my steak was dry, and had no flavours. Tried SK's Pulled Pork and it was great. In the future, consider getting my bowl as Pulled Pork instead of Steak.
EDIT: Could you go back to the cardboard burrito bowls? The new plastic burrito bowls are worse for the environment and lead to a worse...
Read moreOn 30th may 2025 at 10:00 pm. My wife and I ordered a chicken burrito and a bean & cheese quesadilla, and unfortunately, they didn’t even taste like a burrito. The girl who prepared it put a very small amount of sauce, which made it feel like I was just eating plain chicken and rice. She also added very little of the other toppings, which really affected the taste and overall experience.
We’ve been to other Burrito Boyz locations and always loved the food, but this location was a huge letdown. I even gave polite feedback to the girl who made the burrito, suggesting she add a bit more sauce next time so customers can enjoy it properly—but rather they gave me attitude and completely ignored me. No one on the floor acknowledged our complaint or even apologized. We felt completely dismissed. At this part proper coaching on how to make a burrito should be given to employees and also teach how to talk to customers (basic courtesy like genuine sorry and thank you)

Read moreI waited 40 minutes for one burrito combo—yes, just one—and it was an absolute mess from start to finish. When I was next in line, a staff member in the back told me to use the kiosk, even though I was already standing there ready to order. I used the kiosk, paid, got an approved receipt, and waited... and waited.
Eventually, a staff member told me there were no orders showing. I showed her my printed receipt and my bank statement clearly proving payment went through. Still, I had to wait another 15 minutes while they “figured it out,” even after I explained that my puppy was waiting in the car and I just wanted to place my order.
Finally, when the burrito was made, they didn’t include the fries or drink—a combo I clearly ordered and paid for. I had to ask again, and when I finally got the fries, they were half frozen and inedible. Disgusting.
No apology. No offer to refund or fix the issue. Wasted 40 minutes and my money for awful food and careless service. I will never come back and absolutely do not recommend this...
