Lake Aquitaine Park is a fantastic spot for a day out with family or for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. The park features beautiful walking trails that wrap around the lake, offering scenic views at every turn. These trails are well-maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll, a brisk walk, or even a run.

One of the highlights is the exercise machines spread along the trails, which add a fun and convenient way to incorporate some fitness into your visit. There’s also a great playground for kids, making it an ideal spot for families. The splash pad is a hit during the summer months, offering a refreshing way for kids to cool off.

For those who enjoy fishing, the lake provides ample opportunities, and it's a peaceful spot to cast a line. The park is well-equipped with restrooms, which are clean and easily accessible.

Lake Aquitaine Park is also a fantastic spot for bird watching. The lake and surrounding greenery attract a variety of bird species, making it a peaceful retreat for nature lovers. Whether you're an avid birdwatcher or just enjoy spotting the occasional feathered friend, the park offers plenty of opportunities to connect with nature.

Another benefit is the proximity to Meadowvale Community Centre, which adds to the park’s appeal. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, exercise, or spend quality time with your family, Lake Aquitaine Park has something...

January 2023

Very different feeling to visit in Winter as the lake is frozen and it is very brown. Still it is good walk around the lake if there is no snow.

Summer 2022

Visited this place with my kids as we were looking something close by. There is beautiful trail around the lake. You can walk or cycle on the trek.

There is plenty of activities for kids in the park including splash pad, swings and play area. For adult, there is open Gym scattered all over the garden.

Lake is beautiful but there is small place to sit with kids. However there is no safety rails so be careful if you visit with kids.

The place will be little busy on weekend but still there is plenty of space.

Other unusual thing I notice was that squirrel can come very close to you and may ask for food. They are not dangerous.

The place is very accessible for old people and people with special needs. However the trek has some slope so it can be tiring for kids and old people.

Tips: You can park your vehicle in Meadowvale Community Centre parking. GPS navigation will take you to paid visitor...

Some parts of the trails are icy. Be careful when walking your dog, especially if they like to pull.. That said, this is a wonderful place to de-stress and enjoy being outdoors. There are numerous tiny places around the lake where you can go to be alone by yourself or with someone special. Just be careful to place trash where they belong (there are numerous trash bins around the lake). It's a great place to walk your dog, meet other dogs, or other people! Great trails to walk at night, too... as long as it hasn't snowed yet. What makes the lake truly a wonder is the fact that it is man-made. It was created to improve the water quality of stormwater drains prior to entering the Credit River. They designed it really well. In one of the pictures I uploaded, you can see where the stormwater drains into the lake. I love the lake at night when not many people are out & about. I love the reflection of the lights on the lake, like a mirror. Very...

This place was super beautiful. Full of many different kind of birds chirping. It’s not a huge park but it’s definitely a nice one. It’s designed in a way where you can lap around as you walk/jog/run. It has a different weight machine as a check point all throughout. So it encourages you to do cardio then weights to workout different areas of your body then cardio then weights again and so on. You will have birds come to you at times and the squirrels too. They seem to be used to people and tend to assume that you will feed them. Also this park is children friendly. They have a park, wide sidewalks and a basketball court that the kids were also using to practice skateboarding. I found that parking was hard to find if you were using maps. Other than that I would highly recommend for walks or outdoor exercise space!
