Subway — Restaurant in Mississauga

Came in on April 14th. I asked if they had gluten free bread they did. The individual working there or it down on regular bread crumbs and got the crumbs all over the paper she was going to make the sandwich on. Or the gluten free bread on top of the gluten filled crumbs and when I mentioned that it was no longer safe for someone with celiac began to tell me it was fine still at which point I left. While walking by after I witnessed the same employee repackage the gluten free bread that was contaminated and place it back on the shelf for someone else. I understand there was a risk of cross communication in the ingredients that I was taking by ordering but never have I seen such unsafe food practices when it comes to an allergen. I will never be going back to a subway again because of this...

Subway was always the good go-to place for a quick bite to eat and was usually busy. This location is in the Credit Valley Hospital where they are guaranteed to have a constant flow of customer traffic.

This location is only busy because you are served by one staff member. Never smiling, usually talking to someone on their earpiece, and doesn't pay attention to your order. The line-ups are long and you can hear the customers complaining, "why only one staff member?"

Today evening i had a chicken teriyaki bowl at credit valley hospital subway. The girl working in the evening did all the modifications without any question. She added crispy onions and my choice of sauces without any additional charges. She made the bowl with such perfection and a smile on her face made me ask her name (Shikha).
