came here a total of three times. The first time the service was quick and pleasant. I think it’s because we were ordering multiple drinks back to back that’s why we were entertained right away. Considering the first time was a good experience, came back thinking it would be the same. There was two of us again, but this time we were placed in the crowded corner in the back. We wanted to move to somewhere more isolated considering there were multiple empty seats, but when asked they didn’t allow it, even though they had allowed it the previous time. The second experience was mediocre. Their chicken was more dry, lacked of sauce, that I had to ask for more of it. When I asked for more, they acted like I was bothersome and was given a different sauce. We finished up and left.
The third time was when I knew I wouldn’t come back again. Came in as pair, but with someone else, it was her first time so I felt kind of embarrassed with the service for bringing her here. When we first sat down there was a water jug provided so we can refill our own water. This time we asked for tea and all of a sudden they took the water away (lol but for why tho, what if we get thirsty for water instead, now we gotta ask for water again?). That did not make sense to us. Again, the chicken was dry, can literally see the un-sauced parts.. like sauce was lightly brushed on the chicken, barely anything there. Had to ask for more sauce and it took forever this time to get it, despite there only being two other people in the restaurant aside from us. It’s like they don’t want to you give any sauce, or they’re stingy with the sauce, that’s why there’s barely any on the chicken to begin with. By the end of it, we finished up and asked for the bill. Paid the bill and added a tip I thought was appropriate due to the lack of pleasant service. When the woman came back she rudely said “tip isn’t included”. Uh, if you check I actually added a tip, but she wanted more. The person I was with added more to the tip, and the lady took it and walked away. After she left I told the person I was with that she shouldn’t have done that and she didn’t have to. She said it was fine, but I don’t think it’s right to be asking for MORE tip so blatantly, especially when you didn’t even deserve it. It was embarrassing how they gave less than the bare minimum customer service but expected the most when it came to the tip....
Read moreThis was my first time trying this restaurant. I attended this restaurant with 5 other friends. We ordered the kimchi fries, and 3 medium chicken dishes. At the beginning, we noticed service was slow. We asked for forks multiple times, water refills, etc. and it usually took 2-3 times of asking to get what we needed. But it was during the dinner I became absolutely infuriated.
One of the chicken dishes was a bit spicy, so we requested some dipping sauce (mayo or anything of that sort). For 6 people, the server brought 1 little sauce. We thought it could be a misunderstanding, so we asked again for a few more. She still only brought one more…when I asked why we couldn’t get more. She sent the Chef.
He came out and was quite loud. He stated he couldn’t give us the Mayo..and then stated that we shouldn’t have ordered the “spicier chicken” to begin with. I do want to clarify that he never told us there would be an up charge (and if there was, we were happy to pay it! But they were so adamant on not giving us sauce without reasoning. A part of us thinks the chef was offended we asked for a sauce?). He then proceeded to say he will bring out his “special sauce”…low & behold, it was soya sauce. We gave up at this point. The service continued to be slow, no additional sauces were brought, if we asked for napkins (we’re eating sticky fried chicken, we need NAPKINS) they brought them out - one…by…one.
At the end, a friend of mine went to pay to cover the table. While the rest of us were still seated, we begin to hear YELLING. We go up, and the same chef is mad we didn’t tip him. He’s raising his voice and basically demanding for a tip. I don’t recall a new law being created where a tip was obligatory? So who was he to demand it, especially considering the negative service and uncomfortable environment created?
I just want to say that if you demand for tip you don’t deserve, you’ll never get it. You can’t attract what you detest, it’s a simple theory of life & the law of attraction. So do better by your customers, and they will do...

I used to be a loyal customer and recommended this place to everyone I knew because of their halal Korean fried chicken. I’d visit monthly for my fried chicken fix, and while I noticed a decline in food quantity, service, and quality over the years, I chalked it up to inflation and remained a supporter.
That ends today.
I went for iftar with two friends, and the experience was beyond unacceptable—disrespectful, frustrating, and outright shocking.
We called ahead and made a reservation 20 minutes before iftar. When we arrived, it took another 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us. We kept pressing the call button at our table—nothing. We broke our fast with just water, still waiting for someone to take our order.
After 30+ minutes, I had to physically go up and beg for a server. When one finally arrived, she interrupted us mid-order, said she had something “important” to do, and walked away. Another 10 minutes passed before she returned—by then, we'd been fasting all day and waiting 35 minutes just to place an order.
At this point, my sister went to the front desk to ask for help, and the server literally pushed her—physically shoved her—while saying, “I’m coming, I’m coming.”
Finally, we placed our order, and the food arrived 10 minutes later. At this point, we were just relieved to eat and get out of there.
Then came the final insult—when we went up to pay, the server slammed the menu in my face, demanding we pay a mandatory 10% service charge (even though we were only a party of three). The manager then argued with us, claiming a 20-35 minute wait time was “standard” and that he sped up our order.
I am beyond appalled.
You expect a tip after physically pushing a customer? After ignoring us for over half an hour? After delivering the most disrespectful service I’ve ever experienced?
This restaurant has lost a loyal customer, and I will never be recommending them again. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually respects...
