This place may look really tiny from the outside but it's actually really spacious. There's plenty of seating so there's usually no wait. It's probably one of the only store in Sauga that offers a large variety on their menu. They have single items, sets and shareable items. Some items you can't get elsewhere. They make the best spicy pork here ! One of the best I've tried. It's so tasty and flavourful. If you order a medium it comes with one rice, if you order a large it comes with two rices. The bibimbap is also really good but nothing too special. If you order the large Bibimbap, the portions are huge but it doesn't come in a hot stone pot. Rather it comes in a big metal bowl. It isn't as hot as the single portion bibimbap but it's still delicious. One order can feed 2-3 people. They have a variety of soups. I usually get the spicy seafood soup or the kimchi pork soup. They all come with rice on the side. Jajangmyun here is okay. It's one of the typical things you see people in kdramas eating. It's noodles with black bean sauce. If you're unsure of what to order. They also have a set menus where you can try small portions of two different items. As for rice. Some of the things you order comes with the special rice, others just come with white rice. So if you prefer white rice over the other kinds remember to tell your waiter. If you prefer the special rice and it doesn't come with your meal. You can change it for a charge. They have daily specials where some items are slightly cheaper. This place is a little pricier than average but the food delicious.

I came here with a big group of friends on a Sunday evening. We had made reservations in advance and they were okay with us seating in earlier than our reservation time. Despite us sitting in separate tables, they had tried their best to accommodate our big group to sit as close to each other. Most of us ordered the combo food section: C1 (Original Chicken), C2 (Seasoned Chicken), C3 (Honey Garlic Chicken) and C5 (DonKatsu). All of their food combos comes with black bean noodle and side dish: kimchi, radish and coleslaw. I would highly recommend getting C2 and C3 and definitely highlight on their chicken. Their seasoned and honey garlic chicken is one of their legendary menu items 🔥. That is going to get a 'WOW' moment 😋. The chicken is boneless, tender, flavourful and it practically melts in your mouth! The original chicken is very crispy for those who enjoy without any seasonings. The seasoned chicken had a slight kick of spiciness, it had the perfect amount of spice and not overly spicy for individuals who can not tolerate spices. Their black bean noodle was not bad. Other items we had tried out are A1 (Spicy Ricecake) and V2 (YaChe Dolsot BiBimBap). Overall, their portion to price for the food combos are very generous. Their service was excellent even though it looked like they were under staffed. There were times that they had brought us the incorrect food item to our table. Song Cook's Korean Chili is one of Mississauga's best value and authentic Korean restaurants. I would certainly be coming back to try out more of their authentic Korean food! 👍

The worst restaurant. When I first walked in, the first thing I noticed was a line up of takeout customers and the servers were running around with their heads cut off. There were only about 2 female servers and one of them had to ask the same question 3 times. One server took our order then the second server came much later to take our order and we told them we already ordered. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized. The buttons on the table are taped down with packing tape, I’m sure there were much better professional looking options that they could have used. The tape was peeling off and sticking to things on the table. As a Korean person myself, I could hear the Korean gentleman at the front fighting with some other Korean woman in the kitchen during our whole meal about a takeout order that went wrong. Blaming each other and screaming in front of everyone in the restaurant. There was a hair in my food (photo attached). All the server did was take it and say “we will get a new one”. So while everyone else was eating I waited for my food. Didn’t even get a proper apology. Then when we were paying the Korean gentleman who was screaming to the kitchen staff the whole time didn’t know which table we were from and was basically quizzing us on what we ordered. So instead of using his head and asking the server which table it was, we listed our entire order for him to pay. I will never be coming back here again and will not be recommending it to anyone else. 최악의 식당입니다. 너무 정신 없고, 씨그럽고, 정리 안되있고, 더럽고, 너무 너무 안 좋았습니다. 자짱면에 머리카락도 있었습니다!

came here a total of three times. The first time the service was quick and pleasant. I think it’s because we were ordering multiple drinks back to back that’s why we were entertained right away. Considering the first time was a good experience, came back thinking it would be the same. There was two of us again, but this time we were placed in the crowded corner in the back. We wanted to move to somewhere more isolated considering there were multiple empty seats, but when asked they didn’t allow it, even though they had allowed it the previous time. The second experience was mediocre. Their chicken was more dry, lacked of sauce, that I had to ask for more of it. When I asked for more, they acted like I was bothersome and was given a different sauce. We finished up and left.

The third time was when I knew I wouldn’t come back again. Came in as pair, but with someone else, it was her first time so I felt kind of embarrassed with the service for bringing her here. When we first sat down there was a water jug provided so we can refill our own water. This time we asked for tea and all of a sudden they took the water away (lol but for why tho, what if we get thirsty for water instead, now we gotta ask for water again?). That did not make sense to us. Again, the chicken was dry, can literally see the un-sauced parts.. like sauce was lightly brushed on the chicken, barely anything there. Had to ask for more sauce and it took forever this time to get it, despite there only being two other people in the restaurant aside from us. It’s like they don’t want to you give any sauce, or they’re stingy with the sauce, that’s why there’s barely any on the chicken to begin with. By the end of it, we finished up and asked for the bill. Paid the bill and added a tip I thought was appropriate due to the lack of pleasant service. When the woman came back she rudely said “tip isn’t included”. Uh, if you check I actually added a tip, but she wanted more. The person I was with added more to the tip, and the lady took it and walked away. After she left I told the person I was with that she shouldn’t have done that and she didn’t have to. She said it was fine, but I don’t think it’s right to be asking for MORE tip so blatantly, especially when you didn’t even deserve it. It was embarrassing how they gave less than the bare minimum customer service but expected the most when it came to the tip....

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I attended this restaurant with 5 other friends. We ordered the kimchi fries, and 3 medium chicken dishes. At the beginning, we noticed service was slow. We asked for forks multiple times, water refills, etc. and it usually took 2-3 times of asking to get what we needed. But it was during the dinner I became absolutely infuriated.

One of the chicken dishes was a bit spicy, so we requested some dipping sauce (mayo or anything of that sort). For 6 people, the server brought 1 little sauce. We thought it could be a misunderstanding, so we asked again for a few more. She still only brought one more…when I asked why we couldn’t get more. She sent the Chef.

He came out and was quite loud. He stated he couldn’t give us the Mayo..and then stated that we shouldn’t have ordered the “spicier chicken” to begin with. I do want to clarify that he never told us there would be an up charge (and if there was, we were happy to pay it! But they were so adamant on not giving us sauce without reasoning. A part of us thinks the chef was offended we asked for a sauce?). He then proceeded to say he will bring out his “special sauce”…low & behold, it was soya sauce. We gave up at this point. The service continued to be slow, no additional sauces were brought, if we asked for napkins (we’re eating sticky fried chicken, we need NAPKINS) they brought them out - one…by…one.

At the end, a friend of mine went to pay to cover the table. While the rest of us were still seated, we begin to hear YELLING. We go up, and the same chef is mad we didn’t tip him. He’s raising his voice and basically demanding for a tip. I don’t recall a new law being created where a tip was obligatory? So who was he to demand it, especially considering the negative service and uncomfortable environment created?

I just want to say that if you demand for tip you don’t deserve, you’ll never get it. You can’t attract what you detest, it’s a simple theory of life & the law of attraction. So do better by your customers, and they will do...

NEVER COMING BACK! DO NOT GO HERE!

I used to be a loyal customer and recommended this place to everyone I knew because of their halal Korean fried chicken. I’d visit monthly for my fried chicken fix, and while I noticed a decline in food quantity, service, and quality over the years, I chalked it up to inflation and remained a supporter.

That ends today.

I went for iftar with two friends, and the experience was beyond unacceptable—disrespectful, frustrating, and outright shocking.

We called ahead and made a reservation 20 minutes before iftar. When we arrived, it took another 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us. We kept pressing the call button at our table—nothing. We broke our fast with just water, still waiting for someone to take our order.

After 30+ minutes, I had to physically go up and beg for a server. When one finally arrived, she interrupted us mid-order, said she had something “important” to do, and walked away. Another 10 minutes passed before she returned—by then, we'd been fasting all day and waiting 35 minutes just to place an order.

At this point, my sister went to the front desk to ask for help, and the server literally pushed her—physically shoved her—while saying, “I’m coming, I’m coming.”

Finally, we placed our order, and the food arrived 10 minutes later. At this point, we were just relieved to eat and get out of there.

Then came the final insult—when we went up to pay, the server slammed the menu in my face, demanding we pay a mandatory 10% service charge (even though we were only a party of three). The manager then argued with us, claiming a 20-35 minute wait time was “standard” and that he sped up our order.

I am beyond appalled.

You expect a tip after physically pushing a customer? After ignoring us for over half an hour? After delivering the most disrespectful service I’ve ever experienced?

This restaurant has lost a loyal customer, and I will never be recommending them again. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually respects...
