I have been coming to this Tim Horton's ever since it opened from the mid 2000's, and have always been satisfied up till just now.
I was giving my order and Naila was serving me, although the ladies here are very sweet and they treat you well, just a couple things were a bit weird.
Basically while giving my order she did this thing where she would walk away to get one item ready and would still be listening to you for the other item. I like how she does this to reduce wait times, but it just caught me a bit off guard because I don't want to shout my order to her.
The weirdest thing was yet to happen where she talked to her coworker in Urdu/Hindi, languages I'm fluent in, and said "Customers ko chila k Bolna parta hai" which basically means "we have to yell at customers to get them to listen to us".
I don't think they knew I also understood the language but even then I let it slide.
The thing that was most unappealing to look at, however, was when an elderly woman came to ask about her coffee or something and one of the ladies was saying "this old lady is crazy" or something along those lines.
I work in customer service, and I also have coworkers who speak my native tongue, but we go in the back room to converse in that language not in front of customers and we definitely don't call customers crazy, especially not in front of them.
I know it sounds like I'm being petty, but this is just a way to let them know as friendly advice that most customers would not take stuff like this too lightly.
The ladies are really nice here, and the service is great but this was just a bit out of place for this location and the reputation it...
Read moreWent to this location last Sunday, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This place is a health hazard and people need to be aware. We ordered two coffees, two turkey bacon clubs and two cookies. Coffee came first, and after being reassured that coffees had milk and not cream in it, both had cream in it. Both got replaced with out much fuss. After waiting about 10 minutes for our sandwiches, we went to our vehicle to eat them. After first bite of the sandwich, I quickly realized that the bread was not only not toasted but also few days old and stale. Upon further inspection I realized the bottom of the bun had green mould starting to grow on it. I took both sandwiches in and asked to speak to a manager. A person identifying them selves as assistant manager, told me the manager wasn’t in. They said they’ll make new sandwiches, immediately after which I observed a gentleman grab another bun and put it in microwave. Irritated, I told him that I’m not paying for a microwaved old bread. He then tried to justify it by saying that all their buns are frozen and they microwaved. We then got into an argument, as I told him that it isn’t true. Only dough comes frozen, a which gets baked into fresh bun. You don’t freeze made bread. After some more arguing, I asked for a phone number of the franchise owner, whom I’ll be following up with shortly, got a refund and left. This is an absolutely disgusting place, that’s going to poison someone in the near future. Never will I return, or recommend...
Read moreWhy is that the restaurant workers these days especially at Tim Hortons does not take food handling seriously? They touch their nose, face, glasses, hats, hair, handle money and then without washing their hands or change their gloves handle food. When you ask them to wash their hands or change their gloves they take offence. Folks, that is nasty! You are transmitting yours and everyone you serve germs 🦠 and cross contaminating your customers food. Cleanliness is next to godliness. It’s time that management and owners take responsibility for the actions of their staffs and train them proper food handling skills. I’ve visited many Tim Hortons and they are all the same. 🤯🤯🤯
Additionally, they get every order incorrect every time my tea is always too creamy when I asked for 1 1/2 cream it looks and tastes like 3-4 creams. They don’t give you napkins with your purchase and there isn’t any dispensers for self serve. They don’t offer egg whites in their sandwiches for people with yolk allergies, only the egg white...
