To the new owners of this place: You ruined it. I come here everyday multiple times a day to the point where the girls who quit recently knew my order by heart and knew who I was even when taking my order through the speaker. Nothing like going to Tim Hortons and as you’re walking in you’re coffee is already made because they already saw you coming. This location had an excellent team and the new owners literally destroyed it. Even the manager that was there quit when they switched her to the location across the street. They became so miserable with the new management that they ALL quit!!! I have nothing good to say, especially when the management tells their employees not to talk to the customers, yes that’s right, they aren’t even allowed to ask a customer how their day was because apparently it wastes time. Like WHO IS RUNNING THIS PLACE?? Do you not know that talking to customers IS CUSTOMER SERVICE? you want them to be robots? I have never seen such poor management at this location until recently when the new management took over. Not only myself but many other customers became very unhappy when this whole change happened. This is not the friendly place I get my coffee from anymore. The people in the drive through never understand what you say and when they pretend they did they give you an order that looks nothing like what you asked for. I am writing to commend the incredible staff at Esso, Tim Hortons corner of Burnhamthorpeand Dixie, for their outstanding service and professionalism. My recent visit left me deeply impressed, and I wanted to ensure their hard work does not go unnoticed.
The staff consistently demonstrated remarkable poise and efficiency while managing a busy environment. Despite the challenging situations caused by a high volume of customers and, at times, the impatience of others, the team remained calm, courteous, and professional. Their ability to perform under pressure is nothing short of amazing.
I would like to specifically highlight the manager, Nena, for going above and beyond with her exceptional customer service. Her leadership and dedication were evident as she stepped in to ensure customers were attended to promptly and with a friendly demeanor. Nena’s efforts exemplify what it means to provide top-tier service and create a welcoming environment, even during the busiest moments.
The entire staff deserves recognition for their teamwork and ability to handle difficult situations with grace. It is a testament to their commitment to excellence and the positive culture they have cultivated under Nena’s leadership.

I witnessed an employee retrieving a plastic bag filled with donuts and bagels from her car and bringing it into the back of the store. When I confronted her, she became aggressive and claimed they were "frozen donuts and bagels from another shop." This is alarming since Tim Hortons prides itself on baking fresh products on-site.
