Terrible!
Went here yesterday with a friend for a quick drink and ordered their "Wild Size" Captain Morgan Spiced Rum which is on their drink menu. This a 2oz drink (double shot) which is suppose to save you some money instead of ordering 2 singles. We each got 2 Wild Size drinks (total 8oz) but when the bill came, they charged us for 8 single drinks. I asked the server as to why we are being charged this way and why isn't it being entered into the system as Wild Size orders? The server went to speak to the bartender and then came back and told me that they don't have that size in their system...(but is clearly on their drink menu). The bartender then came over and started to explain to me that the menu and the selection at each location is different. I find this rather a dumb explanation since they are a franchise. I then asked to speak to the manager but was told that the manager was not there. I asked the bartender to call the manager on the phone and find out what they can do. The bartender admitted that this is a mistake and that Wild Wing is in the process of changing their menu and prices....why would the prices be changed in their computer system before the menus are changed?!?!?! Does not make a whole lot of sense. After a short conversation between the manager and bartender on the phone, the bartender then comes over to us and said that her manager said "there is nothing they can do and we need to pay what is shown on our bill...". So what that tells me is that even though its their error...we as the customer needs to ignore that error and pay what they are telling us to pay. At this point, it's not even the $$ that is the issue...it's the way the manager chose to handle the situation. We did not want the server or bartender to suffer from this so still payed our bill and tipped accordingly. The bartender took down my number and said that she will get the manager to call me back asap...still have not heard from that manager....as expected. This is the worse encounter I've ever had when it comes to this type of situation. I understand mistakes happen but as a business, you think they would handle these...
Read moreIf there was an option to give 0 stars, I would. Only reason this 1 star even counts was because of the waitress and how great she was. Never going back here again. We went with a group of 6 people and the manager/owner or whoever he is, was rude AF and just berating us. Forcing us to buy alcohol and "spend more money on food". It's not his decision to let us know how much we want to spend, we'll spend as much money as we want and order whatever we feel like having. Place was empty when we went in and he wouldn't give us good seats to watch the game and gave us the crappiest seating and started arguing with us when we tried to ask politely. Our waitress was asking the owner/manager to switch seats because we are regular customers and he just yelled at her in front of us. We were nothing but polite the whole time and had the worst experience ever. The food we ordered took very long and my food order came out wrong; when I asked for it to be fixed, it came out cold. It became busy later that night and the waitress probably only came to our table once to check up on us and we tried flagging her down for refills or order more food but she never came once it got busy. I understand that it's harder for the staff when it gets really busy, but if you know it's going to get super busy on the weekends or game nights, hire more staff to make everyone's lives more easier and give everyone a nice experience. Place is so rundown as well, definitely needs to be fixed up. Most TV's are horrible quality, pool tables didn't have proper balls and the washroom needs to be cleaned and restocked but was not. All in all, management/owner is a devil and doesn't know how to take care of customers. Worst experience ever, definitely...
Read moreI ordered food here using the Uber eats app, and I was not impressed by the presentation or the service. I got two sets of different flavoured wings with a side of fries, and when it arrived, I thought I only got one out of the two sets of wings along with the soppy sauce filled fries. I called and told them about my missing order, and after two unanswered calls, they finally picked up. At first, I'm assuming a waitress, spoke to me as I tried to explain the problem to her, but I was soon rudely past off to another person, which I'm assuming is the one who packaged the food. I heard her say with attitude, "can you talk to her? I'm busy", and she didn't even bother telling me who the heck she was passing the phone off to or what was really happening with the missing order. When I talked to the person who prepared the food, I was told to check the box with the fries. When I checked, the chicken wings were all crammed at the very bottom of the fries, which was why the fries were so sloppy with the wings' sauce, when they weren't supposed to. I didn't expect them to be put in the same box, considering how the sauce from the chicken can easily make fries soggy. He then hung up on me before I could say thank you. 10/10 would not order...
