My friends and I ordered a bottle of wine, and the waitress broke the cork repeatedly when opening it. She told us that she’d continue opening the bottle in the kitchen, and she returned to pour the wine into our glasses, which were full of cork particles. It wasn’t drinkable, so we let her know, and she literally took one of our knives and scooped out a big piece of cork, wiped it on her shirt and redipped the knife in to do that again, trying to assure us it was fine. When we told the waitress we didn’t want the wine, she got pissed. While they eventually agreed to take it back, the energy was incredible hostile all evening with her slamming the cutlery and plates on our table. You need to order before 4pm which requires a bit of advanced planning but is well worth it: The service is fantastic, food is delicious, and portions are perfect.
