Bello Deli - Café Italien — Restaurant in Montreal

First of all the staff is lovely. They are attentive and care about their customers' satisfaction. They know their items, got suggestions and can answer questions pretty quickly and accurately. Warm attitude and friendly !

As for the food, the price to quality ratio is great. The quantity is fair for the price and the ingredients tastes good.

I've gotten a smoked meat panini that I got heated and some gnocchi with parmesan. The blend of ingredients and the crispiness of the sandwich is good, the quality is there too and I definitely recommend it. The gnocchi feels home made. Are they ? I don't know but they taste good ! The parmesan was also good and very tasty!

The person with me took the Tuna sandwich. It tastes fresh and the mix of spices they make with the tuna is good. The apple slices were thinner than a usual sandwich but that meant that they cooked a bit when the sandwich was heated and blended perfectly with the whole thing without making it too much or too big!

Very disappointing second visit to this place. We were there about a month ago and it was excellent! We all ordered sandwiches and the older lady who works there, possibly one of the owners, was kind enough to make our five year old granddaughter, a tomato sandwich. Yesterday we went back and the young girl working there refused to make the same tomato sandwich for the little one. She said that the sandwiches were all premade. I told her that I was aware but that last time they were able to accommodate our request. She said that she was to busy and she would only do it if we came back after the rush. So we left and went to another sandwich place that was more than willing to satisfy the needs of a five year old. Someone needs to give that young lady some customer service training.
