Espirito Santo Du Brésil
1000g | 2.2lb.
Granola Ou Bol Chia
Yogourt ou chia, confiture maison, petits fruits, granola maison et sirop d'érable (v)

After meeting some of the Pista coffee team in Toronto, I came to try their cafe in Montreal while visiting on Canada Day and here are my take aways:

• The food is phenomenal! Truly some of the best food I had while staying in Montreal and definitely some of the best cafe food I’ve had period. I had the bah mi & my friends had the cheese sandwich (they were still talking about it on our drive home back to Ontario).

• I had hight expectations for their espresso as a barista and I’m glad they didn’t disappoint. They change it up frequently so even in the same weekend, I didn’t have the same espresso twice. Oat flat white 10/10, espresso tonic 8/10 for me!

• my friends said their iced matcha lattes could have been better, stating that they were a bit watered down.

• customer service was amazing and the barista’s didn’t automatically give up on me when I spoke French—which I personally appreciated but for those who only speak English, they speak English too.

Overall, their space is beautiful with lovely vibes and lots of space for working. They have a patio outside as well and a great retail section. For locals, check out their events that they host at the cafe—it’s really fun if you like coffee! I ended up getting one of their...

The coffee. It’s nice and warm. It’s got a nice colour to it. It’s in a quaint looking mug. It’s got a velvety flavour, coupled with a non-aggressive mouthfeel. Aroma abounds. It’s a little thin. But in the right sort of way. Metallic. But not too much. Some peppery-plastery grainy-granular texture on the back of the chewing-teeth, lingers, for a long time, but not too long, so as to overpower to tangy sensation of soft, supple pop-rocks which pop like cherries and fermented fruit. Resonance. And lots of it. Apple and pear. Barely any, but still some, grapefruit and lime, if you think really, really hard about it. Whiskey sour. Sour whiskey. Acidic acid. Acidic bean. Been good. Been better. Best beans, these beans are, I say. Pairs nicely with a brownie. A chocolate one. I think I’ll...

GREAT GREAT VIBE to work or catch up with a friend. Tables are close to each other but the space is open and airy. Different kinds of sittings, tables, counter tops/bars. Lots of plugs and ports to charge your device addiction.

Table service is nice to have. Better than waiting at the bar for someone to yell your name wrong and spell it even worst and hand you an charred bean drink.

Here the review of the reason you may want to go to a coffee shop... the brews and espresso drinks are great here. Loved my cortado! Perfect steamed milk for a smooth and still strong tasting espresso drink. Wished I had taken a pic before finishing it. Will gladly come back here to oblige my taste buds and caffeine fix. Good...

Truely on of the best third wave café in the city. It is spacious and cozy with very comfortable seats and a free high-speed WiFi internet access. The staff were super friendly and receive you with the most welcoming smile every time you come I tried their latte, cortado, and the chocolate cake and they ticked all the good criteria in my list The espresso drinks were just perfect. They had a perfect strong body, a well balanced acidity, a very distinctive chocolaty nutty kinda notes and the milk didn’t steal the show but instead added the perfect sweetness to the drink The chocolate cake was fresh and it melts in your mouth and it is not overwhelmingly sweet One of my favorite spots in the city
