Went there for the first time unsure of what to get. The lady who served me was very kind and helpful in getting me familiar with some of the dishes and kindly suggested the kottu roti. Absolutely amazing! Super generous portion, had enough for lunch the next day! All in all great experience.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because while I was waiting, she had given me a mutton roll (deep fried egg roll style with mutton, spices and potatoes) without charging me for it, as an appreciation for the wait while good was being prepared. At the end of it, she charged me for the roll. Granted, it was one dollar, but at least communicate that I'll be charged so that we're on the same page.

Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. Very spicy. If you can't take the heat not the place for you as everything is 🌶🌶or🌶🌶🌶or 🌶🌶🌶🌶but the prices and service are good, no long waits. There's air conditioning and the place is clean enough but not great decor. It's larger than it used to be so more tables now. Most order take out. I had Vegetarian Thali. I liked the dal dish (yellow) and the potato dish was okay (also yellow). The leafy green vegetable dish was too salty so I took it home and fried it up with onions, tofu, and leftover basmati rice. So I went to this restaurant since I was in town and looking to eat byriani I found the closest spot and gave a call

As I got to the restaurant, obviously it's not a really good looking 5star hotel reservation restaurant

I ordered lamb byriani and as I was talking to the man he didn't seem genuine he seemed way off I'm not an expert but I know when someone is worrying he kept looking away and I thought nothing of it maybe he was having a bad day
