The food is to die for! I don't usually bother to write reviews, but when I find a hidden gem I like to share. We found this gem tucked away on Fleury near Acadie. The ambiance and the service is nice and all that, but what really blew us away was the food! Our group of friends went all out and shared a bunch of stuff on the menu, and our tastebuds were rewarded. The "tomahawk" steak was tender and succulent, reminiscent of a renowned "Florentine bifteck" I once had. That was great, but what's even better is their sushi. Service was horrible. My husband and I went for a late dinner at 9 pm and only got served our appetizer approx 45 mins later and that's AFTER we complained that the food was taking forever. Not enough staff but what upset me was the servers were constantly joking around and paying more attention to bigger crowds. No one was paying attention to our small table of two. Portions are small and pricy for what we got. Sushi rolls were tasty but rice was falling out of the rolls. Decor is nice and ambiance is good for a party but not suitable for a small table going in for a meal only. 1st and last time...

I had an incredible dining experience at Kokoro! The friendly staff made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The sushi was absolutely divine, with every bite showcasing the high quality and freshness of the ingredients. The ambiance was inviting and perfect for a relaxing meal.
