La Diperie rue Ste-Catherine — Restaurant in Montreal

The line at Chocolats Favoris was insane and we really wanted ice cream. This place was right down the street and it was so good! We have had the dip at Chocolats several times and honestly they taste the same. We got vanilla soft serve, dark chocolate dip and cheap cone.

The soft serve was great - super creamy and rich without being overwhelmingly sweet. The dark chocolate dip (70 percent) was such a nice bittersweet contrast. The cone was, well, a cheap ice cream cone hut they did have waffle cones available.

People working there just didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing and weren’t very helpful. We point at one thing telling them what we want and get a different thing and then they make you feel like you did something wrong? The ice cream itself wasn’t that good either.
