What drew us to this bar was the thrill of the mystery of the experience - hidden entrance where the door will only open if you press the right brick and ordering cocktails to obtain clues to solve a murder mystery. While this aspect is fun to draw large groups of people in for the first time, the atmosphere once you sit down is excellent, the decor is nice, and we had great service. Of course the cocktails are delicious! If you're a bit overwhelmed the servers are able to help you pinpoint what you might be craving at the moment. The food tasty as well! I can definitely see myself visiting again, especially on a night where they host a burlesque show (yes they do this too!!)
If you're wondering about the mystery game portion, unless you're okay spending a LOT of money I recommend being 4-6 people as you will need to purchase 6 particular cocktails to receive all the clues needed. It's a fun way to spend time together and it's good for conversation, especially if you're a group of people that enjoys puzzles. If you can correctly guess the killer and motive - a round of shots! I think the game is well planned out for what it is, and it's a good way to try a variety of cocktails you may not otherwise have tried. Once the game was done, we still stayed and ordered more, which speaks to the good experience of the bar outside...

The ambiance had a mystique to it, a really fun atmosphere for fancy drinks and food. Drinks: totally worth the exorbitant price. They were honestly some of the best mixed and polished cocktails we've had in Montreal. The plus is every drink you get a clue to help solve a murder mystery. That was a fun addition, for sure. But you need all 6 clues to solve it, so 3 people ordering 2 drinks each would be recommended (or hey, go for 6 alone). Food: surprise here was the food open at 11h30 until 2am when we arrived. And although a small menu, damn delicious. The burrata and foccacia were certainly worth it. The plate of potatoes, too, was worth for a midnight snake. Service: server was professional, though he did disappear at times and we waited a while for another drink. Another server brought us the clues and round of drinks, very kind and explained the game. We got shots for solving the murder mystery too, Overall a great time to take friends or on a...
