Pub Andrew’s — Restaurant in Montreal

I was way too wasted and ended up here at like 2:30am and asked for water, then put my head down a bit and they didn't ask questions, which was wonderful. So, thanks staff, you helped me in need. I think they checked up on me a bit but whatever, I left before close.

It's got some pool table with a lot of regulars. I wouldn't really take a first date here, but the prices are fair and the ambience is ok. The music can be a bit loud at times but maybe I'm just getting older and maybe it's just not for me. But then again, the average age there is older...

Man I can't believe I never reviewed this place. Such a cool hidden hole in the wall bar, can't rate the food cause no kitchen but the bartender will make some popcorn for you if you want.

Free pool, and it is a cash only bar but makes the drink prices reasonable. When of the best surprises is a bar regular named Stu who is a retired journalist and such a gem to talk to. I loved this place when I was in Montreal and can't wait to come back. It's one of those bars where you actually have to talk to people then play on your phone...

4 of us walked in. Bartender barely looked up at us. We sat beside the pool tables. Sat for 10 minutes without even a hello or any kind of acknowledgement. The bar tender served 2 "regulars" from the VLTS and went back to ignoring us.

We got up and left and the bartender finally said something.......a rude bye bye.

Missed out on great tips from a 4 top of out of towners looking for a great dive bar. Smelled great like it had a fresh clean and was neat and organized. Service was horrible.

Seems like a locals only...
