Restaurant & Bar Le Kube — Restaurant in Montreal

Amazing restaurant. We stayed at the Bonaventure hotel over the weekend and thought to give this place a try. NOT a dissapointment at all. We went at around 7pm, there was plenty of space for distancing although there was other parties next to us for an event.

Our server François was amazing, took the time to talk to us even tho it was quite busy, took the time to listen to our needs and suggested us our plates. Super friendly

The food was AMAZING! The tuna tartare is a must! Amazing flavors, the tuna is fresh and you cam taste the quality of the ingridients. The special of the day was recommended by François and once again did not dissapoint.. Alot of big pieces of seafood, nice and warm perfectly cooked and tasty. Burger was nice and juicy , not too salty. And the desert was a little delight.

So my sister and I had two experiences at this restaurant and the first was lovely. Second and last was a different level of service. Limited menu availability, not checking in, and the waitress brought everyone free bread, but us. Which is funny to me at the time, but I also acknowledge kind of odd. You easily spend over $100 at this restaurant and due to the service and menu options we tipped a little over $2. We get up to leave and the server comes back with our bill and asked why the tip was so low/if the service was not up to standard. In front of EVERYONE. She had approached my highly anxious sister who paid while my back was turned. She apologized but said the service was lacking (then bolted to her room). I went back and asked for a copy of my reciept to which she was gossiping with her Co workers about the situation. Severely un professional and sad considering the service the night before...

Made a reservation to meet a client for a business meeting. The hostess and wait staff were very friendly from beginning to end. I felt bad because I reserved a booth and I made it clear that my client and I would just have a couple of drinks and maybe something small to eat. The staff made me feel welcome and there was always someone coming around to ask if all was OK. I felt that the staff is a good team there.

It's honestly perfect for a business meeting. I look forward to visiting again and hopefully will try their menu next...
