TLDR: try the tofu dishes and mentirositas if you’re veg.

The food is all good but the portions are small for the price so I won’t be ordering again for sure but I’m happy I got to try the food. I ordered all the vegetarian dishes for delivery but they forgot to include the mentirositas so the manager is supposed to call me soon for refunding that (update the refund process was too confusing so they gave me a gift certificate worth more than the mentirositas for the trouble. The mentirositas show as 4 on the website but I received 3. I called and asked if one was missing and they said if you want 4 you have to pay extra lol but no one gave me that option when I ordered : they don’t have it online and it wasn’t mentioned over the phone. They’re so good though!). I tried the mentirosa frita burger and it was good but nothing special and the fries portion it came with was a sad portion. The solterito dishes are fresh and good but nothing special, yuquitas standard too. I also got all the sauces and they were pretty good but also standard but I feel like they charge a bit too much for those. I recommend trying their tofu dishes despite the small portions. There are two of them: chaufita con su tofu frito, tofu Saltado. They’re tofu masters ! I’m sharing some pictures of what I received. Only took a bite from the burger. Everything else was really these portions. The service related to receiving the delivery definitely could have been a bit better but overall no problems I think are worth mentioning (except lots of people telling me we can’t do this or that and then I asked are you sure and then they confirmed that they can. Why did this keep happening. Maybe do more team communication so you don’t miss out on business opportunities). Thank you to all who made this experience possible for me ! I’m not ungrateful. I also appreciate that they don’t use much plastic packaging but I think even that could be improved as there’s no reason for using the plastic bowls and the containers they use are too big for their portions. They should get ones more suitable to the portion sizes (update: I think they’ve since stocked up on smaller containers because the second time I got the tofu saltado it came in an appropriate sized container made of carton and a plastic lid. an improvement? Or I dunno because why...

As a Peruana I’m always looking for restaurants that takes me back home everywhere I go. We are visiting Montreal with my family, I saw the reviews and I was really excited to go here and my family as well. Upon arriving we got waited at least 10min to be serve a glass of water, waitresses were just walking by us and simply not saying anything, no eye contact whatsoever. If our waitress was that busy and you see that someone is in her section send someone to let the customers know that she will be right with you. Never ever ignore that presence of your comensales. I have Been a waitress for years and that something we were taught, and now as adult it really bothers me to wait for a glass of water and been acknowledged. Waitress arrives, didn’t introduced herself and seemed kinda meh! Como aburrida, like she didn’t want to be there. Waited another 10-15 for our drinks, which were two soft drinks and one chilcano, ok. Then she proceeded to take our order, no smile, just writing on her pad, I guess menu can’t be change? I didn’t want the tacu tacu but just simply a side of rice which she said they can’t do, I get that modifications can’t be made however, I’m asking not to put something that is add to the plate not part of the recipe of the food, anyways. Food arrived after 15/20min. Ceviche was meh, it missed PUNCHE (how we say in Lima) a little bit more flavor, la leche de Tigre estuvo very very light. I got the seco de Cordero, it was good, Cordero wasn’t “hot” it was more like calentado, and hardly any seco sauce. Chicharrón could be better, the pork was not juicy and tasted as it has been frozen. Chicha morada missed more lime juice and wayyyy to much canela in it. And I just want to say that I was surprised to not see Inka Kola as a refreshment on their menu, a Peruvian restaurant without Inka Kola? Besides our waitress horrible service, the girl who was running the food was super attentive (Mayte is her name) smiled, gave the food, ask if we needed anything and brought them, she was way better than our server. I was sadly let down, I really wanted to like it but our experience didn’t reach our...

The re-opening of Montreal has always put a smile on our faces. Finding new restaurants is such an entertaining task. Finding a unique experience is very fortunate. Now, you know you hit the jackpot when all people on your table try the food and freeze for a couple of seconds. Imagine the faces of a flashing epiphany, followed by moans with big smiles. "Foodgasm" could be an appropriate and inappropriate word to explain what happened that night.

A group of friends and I came here on a Thursday. The place was packed by 9:30 pm. Heads up: make a reservation, or else you'll have to do a long wait. As I looked around, the place seemed good for groups as for a romantic evening. This Peruvian restaurant looked promising at first sight.

Luckily, we had a Peruvian sitting at our table who had a seal of approval and explained the best way to start our meal. So here, think about it as a tapa style. They do not serve massive plates, but the number of servings does depend on your appetite.

We first ordered our drinks - a passionfruit Pisco Sour (Maracuyá) and the Chilcano. To every cocktail lover, this is an excellent spot to fancy a drink. The person at the bar knows what he/she/they are doing. A fantastic explosion of flavours and texture.

Then, the food landed and took over the entire table. As suggested by our local connoisseur, we enjoyed it the following way: begin with soft flavours and move your way up towards the strongest ones.

Ceviche original Shrimp Causa - smashed potatoes with shrimp (my favourite) Causa acevichada Lomo saltado (beef) - better eat it while hot. The table's winner: we even ordered a second one. Salchipapa poderosa - fried potatoes with sausage (this was impressively good).

This was a lot of food for four, but it was so worth it.

Gracias, Merci, Thank you to the cooks and the staff who work at this place. I have to say that you aim high in the ranking of one of the best restaurants in Montreal. I cannot...

Authentic Peruvian flavors in the heart of Montreal! This spot completely blew me away — from the creative cocktails to the beautifully plated dishes. The drink presentation was incredible (served in a skull tiki mug!) and packed with tropical flavor. The food was fresh, full of texture, and bursting with that signature Peruvian zest — especially the octopus dish, which was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was vibrant with great music, colorful decor, and warm service that made the whole experience feel like a trip to Lima. Highly recommend this place whether you’re visiting or local — it’s a must-try for anyone who loves good vibes and amazing Peruvian cuisine! 🇵🇪✨
