Humiliating Experience: This Restaurant Treats Paying Customers Like Inconveniences
I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for years, primarily ordering delivery through Uber Eats but occasionally opting for pickup through the same app. Over time, I’ve spent thousands of dollars here, but my most recent visit left me feeling humiliated and appalled – an experience so negative that I’ll never return.
Upon arriving to pick up my order, I showed my Uber Eats details to the man at the counter, who then directed me to a lady who handed me a package. After confirming the pickup on the app and walking out, I was shocked when, moments later, this same man rushed outside, yelling at me in the street. He accused me of taking the wrong order with a tone so aggressive it was as if he were insinuating that I had tried to steal it. I immediately checked the package and, seeing it had someone else’s name on it, returned it without hesitation. Rather than acknowledging their mistake, he berated me, acting as if I had intentionally taken another customer’s food.
When I returned the package, the lady at the counter suddenly claimed she had told me my order wasn’t ready. Instead of addressing this clear miscommunication on their end, the man continued his accusatory rant, pinning the blame entirely on me. Even worse, he initially assumed I was an Uber delivery driver and chastised me for not checking the order – as if that excused his condescending tone and outrageous accusations. When I clarified that I was a paying customer, his attitude softened, but this only made the entire experience feel even more demeaning. Whether I’m a delivery driver or a direct customer, I deserve to be treated with respect, not suspicion.
The situation was so appalling that I chose to leave without my order. Who would want to endure such humiliation just to get a meal, especially one they’ve paid for? After years of loyalty and thousands spent at this restaurant, I find it unacceptable that they would rather accuse a customer of theft than admit their own error. I strongly urge anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere. There are plenty of establishments where customers are treated with dignity and basic human decency. Don’t waste your time or money on a place that clearly has no regard for...

Absolutely the worst Indian food i have ever had. The chicken curry was like water with Indian spices. The rice was cold and dry. The tandoori chicken was dry like rubber.
The toilets' were smelling and dirty. I am not sure where the health inspector is to inspect this place. The soap dispenser was broken and i had to place my hand inside the top dispenser of the soap just to get soap.
When i was about to order, a woman worker came in, put on her apron and started to work at front counter without washing her hands....no hygiene etiquette at all.
Lets not forget about the poor service they give you when you get there to place an order, no hello, no hi, just stares at you.
The food they serve is meant for the trash/garbage that they try to pass on as Indian food. I am Indian and know what Indian food should taste like. You may get lots of customers who are not Indian and not aware of the garbage you are serving them, the food you serve is not fit for dogs.
I am sure you will respond with negative criticisms as you have shown throughout the various responses to customer who posts here which shows to your potential customer the maturity of yourself and your so called restaurant.
Don't waste your money!!!! There are so many better choices in downtown Montreal for tasty Indian foods that actually taste good.

Read moreI was here on a trip, was looking for a place to get decent food. I read reviews so I thought 4 is not bad rating, I did read the owner had not taken criticism well so the sense of his customer service was a red flag indication of owners lack attention to customer satisfaction. Everyone was well behaved don't get me wrong. But we are there for food and when you can't taste butter in butter chicken you can understand the level of dissatisfaction. I had 3 curries but all tasted the same which was a little spice. If you close eyes and taste all gravy you won't figure out butter chicken. My humble request to owner you have a nice thing going for you just pay attention to food taste what you are serving. You can do wonders. As a desi you crave the same taste as back home so if you are on a trip here read latest reviews see if a desi posted positive review maybe it was just today but I had a disappointing experience. To owner, I wish you success and well but you need to improve food and believe me nothing...
