I was really excited to go here and made my family walk up there after an exhausting day because we wanted to have their chai (milk tea), my mother is old and has a hard time walking specially uphill but I told her this place has very good reviews and you’ll feel relaxed after drinking the chai (which is true, or at least for anywhere else’s chai).
So we go in and are ready to order, as I said we only wanted to drink chai but we decided on trying some snacks to go well with our chai. First of all the manager was unprofessional and when asked if their chicken was halal he said “100%” which wasn’t the case as they didn’t have a certificate (there’s another review on this as well). Then he shouldn’t have been standing on his waiter/waitress and belittle them in-front of customers.
He only had masala chai in his menu, I asked him if he can make 2 masala and 3 regular chai as I personally hate masala chai and can’t drink it he said-and I quote him- “anything for you” I was pleased and excited but guess what? All of them were masala chai, when confronted he told me “our tea is already mixed with the masala” and was claiming that he told me. Even if I ignore the fact that he brought masala tea for all of us, I can’t ignore the fact that it was the worst chai I’ve had in my entire life and I am not exaggerating. My mom who loves the masala tea was sick later in the night.
The Amritsari Kulcha was extremely salty even though he recommended it saying that we should definitely try it with our channe(chickpeas), although I was gonna order the bhature(bread) with it but changed my mind (that’s on me), later I had to order bhature as well which wasn’t bad.
The only reason I gave 2 stars for the food is because the chickpeas were tasty and the bhature(bread) weren’t bad.
When I went to pay, guess what was my total bill? $150+!!! The prices in the menu didn’t match the prices in our bill, why? Because the prices have been changed. That is not an excuse, you could edit the prices in the menu or let your customers know in advance! I understand this is a tourist area and the prices are high but you don’t have to scam your customers, even if you don’t have enough customers!
Overall, as someone who used to run our own family restaurant back in my home country, I understand you have to advertise, greet your customers warmly and make them feel special, but you shouldn’t lie, scam and make them feel disgusted! Not recommended, I would personally never put my foot in their door again and for anyone reading this review and planning on going there, ask for the prices before hand and order whatever you feel like eating instead of asking/listening to the manager’s...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The owner, an old guy, is one of the most unprofessional and deceiving people I have ever come across in any restaurant.
All I wanted to do was pick up some tawa rotis (Indian flatbreads). I politely asked how much each tawa roti was, and he said $3 each, which is already absurdly overpriced. I told him we needed 6 rotis for 2 people. Instead of giving an honest suggestion like, “Oh, that might be too much or too little depending on your appetite,” he smugly said, “Yeah, yeah, 6 tawa rotis will be fine.” Fine for who? Clearly, this guy doesn’t care about customers; he just wants to squeeze every penny out of you.
Then comes the real kicker. We took the food home, and when we tried the rotis, they were clearly not made from pure whole wheat flour (atta) but from maida (refined white flour) mixed in. I am allergic to maida as it gives me severe stomach aches, which is why I specifically choose whole wheat atta. For context, pure atta is made from whole wheat grains and is healthier and higher in fiber, while maida is a refined, nutrient-stripped flour that many people avoid due to health reasons.
I called him to ask if the rotis were 100% whole wheat atta. His first answer was, “Yes, it’s pure atta.” But when I pressed further, he changed his story and said, “No, there’s 10% maida in it.” Excuse me? 10%? That is not what people expect when they are paying $3 per roti. If your tawa roti isn’t pure atta, say it upfront, especially for customers like me who are allergic and cannot tolerate maida.
I told him this should be mentioned on the menu so customers know what they are buying. His response was, “We didn’t even say it’s pure whole wheat.” Are you serious? Who does business like that? Then he casually brushed it off with, “It’s a mistake, okay thank you, bye!”
This isn’t just unprofessional, it’s dishonest and unethical. I have zero trust in a restaurant that can’t even be upfront about what their food is made of. And I doubt it was only “10%” maida; it tasted like a full maida roti pretending to be wheat.
This place is a rip-off with fake promises and no integrity. Save yourself the frustration and your money. There are plenty of better places that actually care about quality and don’t lie to their customers.

I recently visited Delhi Junction at Niagara Falls and had a chance to try a variety of dishes — aloo puri, aloo paratha, tea, butter chicken, and garlic naan.
Food Quality • Aloo Puri: The puris were crispy and not too oily, while the aloo curry was flavorful with the right balance of spices. It reminded me of authentic North Indian street-style breakfast. • Aloo Paratha: The paratha was stuffed generously, served hot with fresh butter and yogurt. Comforting and satisfying! • Tea: The masala tea was aromatic and perfectly brewed — not too strong, not too light. A perfect complement to the meal. • Butter Chicken: Absolutely delicious — creamy, rich, and well-spiced without being overly heavy. The portion size was generous too. • Garlic Naan: Soft, fresh, and loaded with garlic — perfect for pairing with the butter chicken.
Service & Ambiance
The service was excellent. Pratiksha, our server, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right and even offering helpful suggestions.
Overall Experience
I’d highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in Niagara Falls. The quality, portion sizes, and warm, welcoming service — especially thanks to Pratiksha — make it a...
