Once we actually spent some time in the hotel (settling down at the end of the night and getting ready for bed) we noticed how unclean everything was. 2 huge cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the main room, and another huge one in the bathroom. Bedding was old and stained, and dirty with hairs stuck in the pillow cases that I had to pick out before I could go to bed. The bathroom was ridiculously small. I've seen bigger eye wash stations compared to that sink. Good luck trying to put anything in the bathroom. And for the toilet, it was angled towards the wall/radiator so you kind of had to sit side ways. I also had to clean the toilet seat before it could be used, as it was dirty. The shower curtain was dirty and so were the floors. The last straw was spiders now crawling on the outside of my suitcase because of the webs in the corner of the room uncleaned. The finish on the vanity was completely peeling off and nothing was being done about it. If you got to close to the sink, plastic pieces of it would fall off onto the floor for you to now walk on. The curtain doesnt close all the way to the room, and you can actually see straight into the bathroom from outside, so good luck with your midnight sprint to the bathroom in your underwear, because you only got privacy in part of the room. The only thing that made me give this place 2 stars instead of 1 was the fact that there was free parking, the location was great, and despite my complaints, the employees were still nice and seemed to understand my concerns with the state of the room, although they didnt seem to agree with me. I think it's got nice decor, but the cleaning staff needs to be a bit more thorough, and maybe replace some of the bedding and add some newer sheets to...

Free parking is a huge plus and the location is great for people wanting to walk to Clifton Hill. The only confusing thing was the single soap dispenser in the shower. I didn’t know if it held shampoo, soap, etc. The owner told me it’s a two in one product (body soap and shampoo), so if you’re not into that bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also no lotion, so if you need it to live like I do and you have dry skin, bring your own.
I gave this motel 5 stars because everything that is within the motel’s control was excellent. However, there is a night club across the road and it’s loud on Friday/Saturday, with music pumping and drunks getting into fights outside. We mentioned it to Lisa the owner as we were checking out and we could tell she’s not impressed with the club either considering she lives on site at the motel. I’m going to send a message to the city, it’s unacceptable that the entire area is zoned as entertainment and the club shouldn’t be in that location. If you’re a night owl and you’re out on the town until 2:30am, you’ll love crashing here. If you have a difficult time sleeping with any sort of noise and want to go to bed early, it’s probably not the spot for you. I would stay again but plan my trip accordingly and come during the week.
EDITED TO ADD: We stayed here a second time, I was scheduled for surgery in Niagara Falls and the owner was kind enough to host us on short notice the night before so we didn’t have to drive in for 6am. Once again, extremely clean and friendly service. Really appreciated her kindness, thank you so...
