Went here to dine in as we were in the city for a bit. I love Wendy's but this visit wasn't my typical experience.
Out of the 7 workers, there was ONE white lady among everyone and she seemed to be the only attentive one. She greeted me when I came in as she was cleaning up the dining area. She told me she would be right with me and came up to the counter with a nice smile and said hello. She took my order and told me it would be a few minutes. I didn't catch her name but she kept to herself and did her work.
While waiting at the front for our food, ALL six other workers were constantly talking and laughing with each other in their language. They ignored customers that came in after me and when they walked up to the counter. I saw multiple customers ignored when waiting to order throughout my time spent here. The white lady was not there at the time so everyone got ignored.
One drive thru worker kept touching his nose and face as he talked more than he worked. He was also not wearing a beard net and neither was the other guy working the grill.
The food was not fresh despite it coming out after all the drive thru orders. I witnessed the white lady take up two spicy chicken sandwiches for my order and when she walked over to put it on my tray, the lady who was making the sandwiches told her it was for the drive thru and took it back.
I waited about 10 minutes for my completed order since they were very focused on servicing the drive thru first but I thanked the white lady for her assistance.
The manager on duty was sassy. My husband went up to the counter to ask for a bag. No one was in line and he stood at the counter. He said each one of the six workers looked at him and watched him walk up. They didn't acknowledge him and continued to ignore his presence while talking to each other. He stood there for about a minute before saying, "Hello! You see me standing here and you're ignoring me. I need a bag please!" The manager responded saying, "I thought you were waiting for your order." My husband said, "No, you were busy talking." Again, there were no other customers waiting for food orders at the counter so not sure who she was referring to if she was working the drive thru with the three other people manning the station.
The only person who had customer service skills would be the white lady and she deserves a better team...
Read moreOkay, this food was delicious. I ordered a Dave's single combo it was amazing. Also, this lovely worker was very kind she was Indian (not trying to be racist) she was super nice and didn't do the things the other worker did. However, this worker with the name Micheal (I believe so, as it said it on his blue sweater) was working tonight (Friday, April 12th at around 7:20pm). My friend's debit card was not working, so I decided to step in and pay for her. Micheal was being very disrespectful to her by typing on the keypad very aggressively to reset her order. As I was about to pay for her I asked if I could add my order aswell (since I was going to pay separately) and then he rolled his eyes and looked at the very nice Indian lady annoyed (I would say her name but I have no idea what it was) ignored his dirty and was very awkward. So, I told him my order while he was very disrespectful while typing aggressively. Then, I asked if I could tap my card as I prefer to do so and he looked very annoyed and aggressively took out the other card machine and told be disrespectfully to tap it there. There was also a few other situations but those aren't severe or serious as the others were. The kind lady working tonight at the cashier should get raised or promoted as she was very kind...
Read moreThere is a night shift manager when I went today April 3 around 12:15 AM. Her service with the customers at the window is rude. Not the first time as well. After I came back to order again. My friend was paying, and once she recognized me when I ordered before. She said that he can't use the receipt offer because I used 1 receipt already and that means my friend can't use it? She was talking to me with a rude attitude, and said to get out of the line if he and I were not going to order food and "block" the line. And I didn't comply with her request because were doing nothing wrong, were trying to order food again and she's not letting us with the receipt offer because I'm there, and my friend is paying. I don't know what kind of knowledge they use train to employee's with, or how they trained the employees there to act towards customers trying to order...
