My kids and I just arrived back at our hotel after an amazing breakfast experience! We had the best service and huge portions of great food. The prices range from approximately $10-$20 CDN. Coming from Germany that strikes me as expensive but judging from other places I have seen in other cities (not just one of the most touristy cities in Canada!) this is appropriate. The portions are big and served fast and fresh from the griddle! I had the Breakfast Platter (Three eggs, one piece of Canadian bacon, two pieces of bacon, one piece of ham, baked beans, and fresh fruit. Served with home fries and toast. for $15.99.) and just couldn’t finish it. It was delicious. My teenaged kids were also unable to finish their breakfasts and that is saying something! If you want to make the effort to drive the 4 kilometres or so from the falls to get away from the IHOPs and other chain restaurants then it is worth the effort. As mentioned in other reviews they only accept debit cards from Canadian banks or cash. Make sure to bring Canadian cash if you don‘t want to get a bad exchange rate.

I'm all about going for brunch so wanted to check out this homey little place in the falls. We managed to snag the last available table just when we arrived so didn't have to wait but it was obvious that people do end up waiting rather often. We tried a few different brunch specials and all enjoyed them. The staff were really friendly and always topped up the coffee. I really enjoyed the time there and would consider it a great brunch spot on the falls. FYI- When you are done, you are supposed to get up and pay not wait for the payment to come around. The only reasons I give this a 4 star instead of 5 is because we ordered after the table next to us and got our food before them which caused them to be visibly upset (but not vocal) as well as how I felt that I was being rushed out the door once done eating. I like to relax when I go out for brunch but felt like I was almost being kicked out the moment I finished my meal. Overall, great little spot for a quick brunch if you want a cheap and easy breakfast but not for sitting down and catching up with friends.

Arrived on a Sunday morning around 10:30 after originally going to the Flying Saucer which had a lineup out the door with a significant wait time. Decided to try Scoops instead and so glad that we did. Open daily from 8am-2pm. Immediately greeted cheerfully and advised we could choose a seat. The dining room was bustling with a steady stream of people coming in and out. The manager was very personable and outgoing and was personally greeting some of the regular customers. Ordered the Classic Breakfasts ($10.29) and bottomless coffees ($3.25). The coffee was decent and the food arrived incredibly quickly and as ordered. Everything was still hot and it was a really great tasting breakfast that hit the spot and was great value for the price. This could be the best breakfast spot in Niagara Falls. I definitely recommend giving it a try, you probably won’t be disappointed.

I would not recommend going here. I have been a vegetarian for over 8 years and I have never been treated like this or with so much disrespect at a restaurant. I ordered an egg English muffin sandwich with no bacon and homefries. They said no problem. I start eating my home fries and there is bacon in it. I go up to a waitress (very dark brown hair in a ponytail) and inform them. She said well yeah we are a breakfast place with only one grill, of course everything is cooked in with the bacon and meat grease. I said that when I ordered my food with no meat I wasn't informed that it would be cooked in bacon grease. She tried turning it around on me and said I should have known as this is a breakfast place and should have ordered something. They asked if I wanted my sandwich (despite the fact that I didn't want my home fries cooked in bacon why would I want to eat eggs cooked in it?) Asked if I wanted to order something else. I could only order a bowl of fruit. I said if they had informed me of this when I ordered I would have gone elsewhere but my mother and daughter had already gotten their food. The waitress treated me like a nuisance and irritation in her day. Didn't seem to remotely care and seemed more bothered by my presence. She made a big deal about not charging me for the egg sandwich and fruit (which I didn't eat) but charged us for the other 2 meals. Was giving me attitude, and getting snippy. Told me what else would you like me to say. I just wanted the restaurant to give me a sincere apology and not to treat an upset customer like a nuisance. As for the snippy comment about of course it's all cooked together one grill it's a breakfast place, IN 8 YEARS ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS INFORMED ME WHEN I ASKED FOR NO MEAT. And I have never been treated so rudely for a dietary restriction. I have gotten better apologies and more concern for simple mistakes or waits on orders at other restaurants. The waitress was at our table when I burst into tears over eating meat and had to run out of the restaurant to cry and purge the bacon out of my system and still was utterly rude. Ruined our Mother's Day breakfast and was rude to me infront of my 5 year old. Will NEVER...

The second time I’ve been here and both times the man I’m assuming owner or manager was rude. 1st time was a couple years ago so I thought what the heck give it another try., twice treated like that before I was even seated. I should have turned around and left!! WILL NOT BE BACK We walked in the front door, the waitress offered us a table which was kind of crowded in we asked for a different table, the guy at the cash said to the waitress how many she said 2 he said no were too busy only a 2 seater. It was the way it was delivered, he could have explained to us but he didn’t even acknowledge us. The first time I was there he came and told us we had to leave, I guess because it was getting busy but we were watching that and wouldn’t have held up a table. Again it’s the delivery. So no this is not a fake review and he needs to learn how to talk to people politely.

So now you are calling me a liar. My friend was with me and can back me up that we were asked to leave. I wouldn’t say it, if it wasn’t true. Like I said, it was the way it was delivered, the guy never even acknowledged us never even looked at us. I would have understood and did understand. I wish I had walked out considering all I’m being accused of now.

On top of it all you have accused me of a fake post now I’m a liar and not once apologized. If you are the owner we have a mutual friend who can tell you I’m not a liar I’m not fake, and if I give a bad review there’s a darn good reason. If I could give no stars I would considering all that’s been said to me from...

This is our third time at Scoops, and whenever we visit Niagara Falls in the morning, it’s our go-to spot for breakfast or brunch. It’s located near the old outlet mall, away from the tourist crowds.

My partner and I both ordered our usual dishes: she had her favourite eggs Benedict, which is the country Benedict, and I had the Hercules omelette. My other family member also ordered the Hercules omelette, and we tried the chocolate Belgian waffle as well.

The Hercules omelette was absolutely delicious! The gyros and feta were so fresh and flavorful, and the saltiness on the omelette was just perfect. The home fries were cooked to my liking, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

My partner always orders the country egg Benedict, and it’s always a hit. The egg Benedict reminds her of Thanksgiving, and it feels like a homemade meal. The turkey and cranberry combination is always a classic, and it’s just so comforting.

As for the Belgian waffles, they were okay. Nothing fancy, but we ordered the chocolate chip just to add a bit of flavour. It was like a little dessert for us.

Overall, we always love coming back to Scoops. The staff is always so friendly and attentive, and the food is always great. We’ve been coming here for so long that it’s become a part of...
