We decided to try this place for lunch and truly enjoyed it. The atmosphere is comfortable and decorated with aboriginal art, and the seating space is decent The waitress was amazing, friendly, observant, detailed and aware. If anything was said she would keep in mind and made sure to give feedback on menu items. We both got side caesar salads and were impressed of how fresh, crisp and well dressed in dressing each leaf was. The dressing was the perfect amount of enjoyable without overpowering. The bacon added a nice crunch and the croutons were real good too. You could taste the garlic and herbs on them. Our main was sweet potato gnocchi and Cuban sandwich. The sweet potato gnocchi was by far my favourite; so deep and rich in flavour, beautifully sauced leaving each bite balanced. Loved the stringy cheese in it. The cuban sandwich is one of the best we've had in a while. Bread was toasted perfectly, good amount of meat, cheese and not too pickley pickle (appreciate that). Definitely a must try. Recommend 100% We look forward to going back and trying other things on the menu :)

We ordered on the phone prior to arrival as we were arriving at the restaurant around closing hours. The staff was extremely accommodating to take our order on the phone. Items ordered : - Spicy paneer burger: The patty was excellent, texture was crispy and quite flavorful. The buns used were decent, they weren't too doughy. - Hakkah noodles : This was alright, Noodles are a little thick. - Veg fried rice: Very well made, the seasoning was as per our taste. - Aloo Samosa: good and served with tamarind and mint chutney. Pro Tip: The portion sizes are decent and can easily be shared if you don't have a big appetite All those comments talking about service are absolutely true. The staff was extremely good and always served us with a smile. Keep it up staff! You guys are rockstars!!

My favourite downtown restaurant! And I'm pretty sure I'm a regular now with how often I order their 'Goat Cheese Quesada' special on Thursdays. Whenever I have a lunch date or someone is in town, I always ask if they want to go to Oak Street. Their coffee is good, they have ice cream in the summer and hot chocolate and baked goods year round. Their portions are AMAZING too. I order their salad (if it's not a Thursday!) and if I'm super hungry I'll eat it all but often times I have leftovers. There is a great breakfast and lunch menu and they feature local art on the wall that is for sale.

I placed a pickup order via Uber Eats for three vegetarian items. The app showed 20 minutes, but the order took over 45 minutes, and one item was still missing.

After an exhausting day at work, I couldn’t cook, so I relied on this order for dinner. I arrived at the restaurant after the estimated time, only to be told it would be another 15 minutes. I waited patiently, but when I checked again, no staff even came to the counter for at least 5 minutes. When someone finally appeared, they said “just one more minute” — and I still waited another 5 minutes. I get home tired and hungry, open the bag — and a full item is missing. I called the restaurant five times for even a basic acknowledgment or resolution — every call went straight to voicemail, and their voicemail is completely full — meaning they clearly ignore customers.

This is not just an “inconvenience” — it’s unprofessional, negligent, and unacceptable service, especially when customers depend on accurate time estimates and basic order fulfillment. If this is how they operate, it raises serious concerns about their customer care standards and overall...

Be careful when ordering from East Oak Fusion—make sure to check your food before leaving. They don’t always prepare what you actually order, and unfortunately, the service experience can be just as disappointing.

We waited 45 minutes for our order, and when we got home, we found a key item missing from the food. We had confirmed the order at the time of placing it and again at pickup.

We contacted the restaurant the very next day, not 2 days later as they falsely claimed in their response. Despite what they said publicly, we were never offered a refund or even a remake at half price—our request was simply declined.

To make things worse, I had to explain the situation to 3 different staff members due to poor internal communication, and the responses were rude and dismissive. The conversation quickly turned unproductive with irrelevant comments, so I chose to end the call myself.

Their public response was not only inaccurate but also avoided taking any real responsibility. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. I won’t...
