so very strange that my review is gone. interesting. at any rate...my wife placed an order. I have a food allergy, so we're always very, very clear on the order. so, when the agent repeated the order, she stated "so, food allergy item on half the pizza, the rest no food item". this isn't what was ordered. the order was none of this particular item, period. but for some reason, on a 2 pizza order, she thought putting this item on half was acceptable. as well, apparently there's no substitutions anymore. so, if the pizza comes with green olives, but you don't like green olives and would rather have pineapple instead, you can't. or at least this is what the agent told my wife. no substitutions. period. so, the agent was corrected about the no food item at all, not just on half. and she had it explained to her that putting this on half is a bad thing. cross contamination. the girl just couldn't get it apparently. so, the order did get corrected. when we got the pizzas, everything was correct. but, the pizza was cold. not talking warm, or even luke warm from sitting on top of the oven at the edge. cold as in sat on a counter near a door cold. so, I called the customer service line. spoke to an agent whoi simply couldn't care less. attitude and tone...couldn't care. actually said..what do you want? free pizza? not gonna happen. didn't ask for free pizzas, was voicing my concern over the qaulity, lack of care, etc. she didn't care. spoke to a supervisor. same attitude. asked for a call back from the location. haven't gotten one. I don't want anything for free. didn't even ask for replacement pizzas due to the pizzas being cold. just wanted to let them know. but, they couldn't care less. so, pretty much an all around poor experience.
Just keep having to add...for the price they charge, you'd think the pizza would have cheese. There's more sauce showing...
Read moreI have had many great experiences with Toppers North Bay pizza- I enjoy their food. But my most recent was a little ridiculous. I ordered a Titan pizza through my Skip app and it tells you Toppers takes care of everything on their end including delivery, accuracy of the food etc. OK that's all great who cares right? Until they send you the wrong pizza. I received a pizza I could not eat due to the toppings I did not order. A nice looking pizza- I'm sure it's great if you can and want to eat spicy food. I called Toppers number as soon as I found there was an issue- I was told on the phone that because I ordered through the Skip app they were not responsible for the issue? OK ? I have a receipt from Skip that clearly shows what was ordered and they DO NOT use skip drivers or tracking to ensure accuracy. Toppers made the pizza, and delivered it independently of Skip. So as per Toppers employee telling me basically to kick rocks I went through my Skip app and filed the issue. They responded and told me they would not refund my order. So lesson learned and I hope if anyone reads this that they just order right from their website so they can't use this as an excuse to completely avoid...
Read moreOrdered pizza midday for 6 pm delivery. Pizza was a little late however the driver did call ahead to let us know. The driver has just driven away when we noticed the Toppersticks and Cheesy sticks were not delivered. I called the last phone number I had received and it was the delivery person and she said she'd contact the store and have the 2 items delivered. Some time later another driver came by with Toppersticks only. He said there was only one order to deliver and I'd need to call customer service. He was abrupt to say the least. I did call and got a helpful person and said she'd go speak to a supervisor regarding compensation as it was a large order. She came back to offer an $8.95 to be applied to our next order. The 2 orders of bread sticks were over $11. I refused the offer as neither of the breadsticks were needed as we had all finished eating and no longer needed the breadsticks. This was a family get-together and the order was $113.45. It put a damper on the meal. Customer service was overall terrible. I rarely complain, but this ruined the meal and then to be insulted with a less than 10% compensation to be applied to next purchase. This is...
