To start, I called to place an order for tamales and other products for a party I am hosting. Talking to the person who took my order I asked 3+ times to make sure the closing time was at 6 pm as described in Google to which he answered yes, I told him I work close to airport and would try to make it by 5:30 pm as he requested but wouldn't promise since it is peak hour at that time, to which he replied it was ok and he would leave everything packed, for me to just pick-up but it was okay for me to arrive later since the kitchen closes at 5:30 pm but the store and market close at 6 pm. Of course I tried to get there as early as I could but ended up getting there at 5:45 pm and asked for my order. The lady at the front screamed "the one for the order is here" to her colleague in a very annoyed tone. Her colleague, a man, told me to go to the other cashier to pay for my products. He "joked" giving me a box of frozen chicken saying "here are your tamales" and then proceeded to ask in a very rude tone "what time do you think is this for you to arrive?" to which I replied "we still have 15 min to closing time" and he said very annoyed "not today, today we want to catch the 6 pm "boat" so we are trying to leave early" I tried to ignore his bad customer service tone but he kept repeating to himself that people arrive there at whatever time they want; this got me a bit more upset and told him that I am still a customer and shouldn't have to keep up with his rudeness. Meanwhile, the lady was struggling to check out the items with the register and the man got very upset and called what I'm guessing was their supervisor and while he was pressing buttons on the cash register he accidentally pressed the "cash" button and had to make a $124 refund but since he did not know how to properly do this, he asked for me to pay for this since I was the cause of "this mess" I did not say anything and just waited for them to figure this out. After 12 min, they finally checked out my products and when I paid I did not leave a tip, obviously, which made him even more upset and he tried yelling at me which I completely ignored and just kept walking to the exit since by that time it was past 6 pm and I wasn't going to waste another minute arguing with such person. It was a very sad and upsetting situation since I really enjoy eating here but the customer service had gone from...
Read moreThis used to be one of our favorite spot in the quay. But yesterday, we had the WORST experience, both me and my husband.
I ordered first, got the chicken chimichangga. My husband then ordered BEEF chimichangga and taquitos.
I waited for quite a long time and my order did not came out. Meanwhile my hub got his taquittos after few minutes. Then his chimichangga. He followed up my order and they said its coming. After another 10-15minutes still nothing so I asked again. The two ladies and the guy asked each other about my order looking confuse. They spoke in their language so I don't know what they were saying. I just stood there waiting for any update or maybe a small apology. But nothing, they asked me again what was my order. Then that was the only time they started making it. At this point, I've been waiting for more than 30minutes already and asked the guy if my order was given by somebody else, he only shrug his shoulder and said probably. No apology or anything.
When I finally got the order, the chimingga was a bit soggy, same as my husbands. (Which by the way he was given a chicken and not beef) but we didn't bother to say anything.
This was the worst part. Half way while my husband was eating his chimichangga, he found a toothpick inside with the shredded chicken. Good thing he caught it before it pierced his mouth. He spoke to the servers, the lady in red hid at the back (she was the cook) and left the guy to explain.
They only said its a mistake and they can't do anything about it. Again, NO APOLOGY . It was only when my husband told them that maybe an apology can somehow make the situation better, then the guy said sorry.
The prices went up, the serving became smaller, the quality of the food is poor. The service was the worst.
Never coming back to this...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews but this place is really bad. They had a guy and girl working, they are both slow and both watch eachother struggle. None of them took the initiative to ring my order in, one worker was struggling while the other was watching doing nothing (could have helped rang in food or help cook) that inturned slowed everything down even more.
I ordered the chicken "Monster" burrito only to find a burrito filled with beans and rice and just a tiny bit of chicken inside the wrap. Which cost $15!!! Definitely not worth, basically buying a canned bean and rice wrap for $15. To top it off, they have covered the whole burrito in some sort of mystery sauce that was not appetizing and made me sick afterwards and I ended up not finishing it and threw it away. I am assuming monster does not mean the size, but the grotesque look of the burrito themselves.
I saw the emoloyees used their bare hands to handle fooda nd handle money from other customers. They had ingredients that should have either been in a heat warmer or ice bath, they basically had the food at room temperature out all day so bacteria can grow.
Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Worst mexican food I've ever had, if not the worse food I ever had, would not even feed...
