Cafe Mix Up's goat curry dish is quite delicious. Goat is always my must try dish at any West Indian restaurant. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned. A couple pieces of bone showcase the source of the dish's flavour. The rice and peas and the salad were all yummy. Golden rum cake is excellent. My one comment is that I feel the dish is priced a bit too high, especially when you consider the portion size. The takeout fork is there to provide some scale.

I will start with the good. The location is good. Service great. The meat size, quality, and quantity are good. I like the separation of the food. I'm not sure if the flavour is to accommodate the community, but I would have like more spice and flavor. Think season was quite light

Came by for the first time today, and had a wonderful experience in regards to customer service and quality of food! I tried the mix up Mac n cheese, absolutely delicious! So happy to have an option for some Caribbean flavour in the downtown Oakville area. Thank you!!

Highly recommend eating here. Family from the US found this restaurant online, food was amazing! There were 6 of us, we ate our food inside and took a bunch of stuff to go.

The atmosphere was nice, staff and owner patient while we ordered of what seemed like one of everything. Personally the jerk chicken wrap was amazing. Simple band tasty - it was probably the coleslaw šŸ˜Š. Canā€™t wait to go back for the curry...

Ordered the jerk chicken meal - price was increased to $19 from $16. I was still willing to pay the more expensive price to support a local business.

However, I have never received such a small portion of chicken at any other Caribbean joint except here. At other places, I receive the amount of at least 2 chicken breasts. Here, I received maybe half of 1 chicken breast amount.

I will definitely not...
