Hashtag Garden — Restaurant in Oakville

I always enjoy coming to Hashtag! Maya was great, checked on us and got everything to us on time.

Yet, assuming Maya was our hostess - too many other employees continued to check on us. Over servicing occurred, haven't experienced that before at this location - don't think it's necessary given people probably come to enjoy some food while they chill smoking shish.

Shortly after recieving our dinner, one of the employees asked us if we wanted take our boxes. the over servicing felt like we were being rushed. We were there for alittle over two hours and spent over $250.

Terrible restaurant, do not waste your time or money. The service was terrible, server was rude. We had a reservation for 6 people and they did not have the table set in an empty restaurant. They made my grandparents push tables together. It took 25 minutes to get 3 soft which we had to find to server to order again in an empty restaurant. Drinks and food are over priced. We ended up taking our business else where to a restaurant with friendly attentive management. Never in my life has my family ever left a restaurant to go to another....

We went there on New Years around 11:00 to 12:30PM, and wanted to enjoy the Hookah. Upon being done, after we asked for a cheque, the server mentioned that there is a 50 dollar minimum spend per person, which is not written or communicated to us anywhere.

The manager failed to inform us and upon billing neither did they let us leave and forced us to order more food to hit the spend for a 100 dollars.

Unethical. Despite adding nothing on OpenTable, the management seems to forming its own rules out of a blue and informing customers...
