Mary's Muffins — Restaurant in Oakville

Mary's is a nice local cafe situated within the heart of Oakvilles village. It has become a regular meeting ground when visiting friends in the community. The ambiance here is very pleasant in terms of the layout of her cafe. You can tell she put some thought into choosing appropriate lighting. Good for those who want to sit and read or work on a computer or just hang out. The volume of the music is also kept just right for some background cafe vibes while still being able to converse with friends at the same time. Mary's selection of soft fifties through eighties tunes is a very nice touch. You played my favorite song by (Ritchie Valens - you're mine) - today. Haven't heard that song publicly played anywhere in years. Appreciated the through back of memories this brought hearing it again. Five stars * for Mary's Muffins all the way! Stumbled upon this place while walking up to another Cafe down the street to see what they had.

Was looking for coffee. - which was good. Their specialty was muffins .. so I decided to try one. Hesitant at first for trying a pistachio rose muffin but the front employee said it was a special for the weekend, so I gave it a go. It was dry, but the coffee helped... BUT what it didn't help was me biting into a shell from the pistachio. Which added to the disappointment actually.

I showed and informed the front employees. They were nice about it and showed their concern.. offering to refund or give a gift card for my purchase. Refused as I probably wouldn't go back.

Great employees but not sure about the muffins... " only good ingredients" is their slogan... definitely something they need to watch out for in terms of quality. Situation could've been worse, someone choking from the shell or breaking a tooth.

Mary’s Muffin is one of my favorite cafes in Kerr Village. The owner is very nice and friendly and cares about providing high quality, great taste and service. The decoration is very nice and makes you feel at home. I would love to sit here all day and enjoy a hot coffee with my muffin.

The muffin menu includes seasonal flavors and classic ones. Muffins come in regular and mini sizes. Vegan and keto options are also available. Right amount of sugar is added to the muffins and scones, which is not something you can find in most places. It’s more delicious and healthy. You can also buy prepackaged frozen muffins to take home and eat whenever.

I loved the Blueberry scones, not amount of sweetness for me. The classic flavors were delicious, but a few flavors that were unique here were “Pear & Fig” and “Morning Glory”. Both are must-try flavors and I would definitely...
