During my recent visit to McDonald's in Oakville, I had the opportunity to once again indulge in their delectable menu. True to form, the flavors were impeccable, ranging from the satisfyingly spicy choices to the ever-popular classics. McDonald's certainly knows how to craft a mouthwatering meal that hits all the right notes.
What truly caught my attention during this particular visit was the extensive selection of beverages. With an array of both hot and cold drinks, including my personal favorite, the iced cocoa, McDonald's continues to offer a diverse range that seamlessly complements their culinary offerings.
However, it's important to note that my brunch experience in Oakville wasn't without its imperfections. Upon arrival, I encountered a less-than-ideal situation. The table I initially chose had clearly been overlooked – remnants of liquid stained the surface, and discarded tissues cluttered the area. Seeking a cleaner spot, I relocated to another table, only to encounter a similar state of disarray.
The experience was further dampened by the lack of attention to cleanliness exhibited by the staff. It appeared that no effort had been made to maintain a tidy dining environment, leaving tables and their surroundings in a state of disarray. Even the men's restroom did not meet expectations, exhibiting a noticeable lack of cleanliness and excess water on the floor.
While the flavors and menu offerings at McDonald's remain commendable, this recent visit underscored the significance of upholding cleanliness and professionalism. A dining experience encompasses not only the food itself but also the overall ambiance and environment. It is my hope that McDonald's takes the necessary steps to ensure that all aspects of the dining experience contribute positively to the customer's visit.
In conclusion, McDonald's in Oakville continues to deliver a delightful array of flavors and beverage options that contribute to a satisfying meal. However, the encountered issues with cleanliness and the unusual behavior of a staff member did cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable experience. I am optimistic that McDonald's will address these aspects, ensuring that every visit is a fully enjoyable and...
Read moreWas there earlier today with my baby and 6-year old. Sat down at one of the mobile order tables and placed my online order. It was supposed to be delivered to our table. 20 minutes go by. Just before 25 mins I go up to see what’s taking so long (I waited this long because I could see lots of customers waiting for their orders. Lots of upset people. Super slow service). Anyways when I got to the counter I notice what looks like my order. Sitting on a tray. I see the receipt and it says my name and what table number it’s for (clearly a mobile order to be delivered to a table). So I feel the fries. Cold. I speak to someone behind the counter (who was walking around trying to fix issues with other angry customers). She asked someone to replace my 2 orders of fries. I then point out that I’m sure my daughter’s nuggets are cold too (my meal was likely sitting there for a good 10 mins). Apparently one of the guys behind the counter said he called out my number. I had to actually tell him that it was a mobile order to be delivered to the table (it clearly said table 36 on the receipt). He seemed clueless as though I was telling him something he didn’t know. No apologies. Just “uh huh. Ok. Yup..”. I get back to the table with my new food. Then I realize I didn’t get my cookies. So I go back and ask for them. They didn’t have one of the type I ordered. Then I saw a manager and told him what happened. He did apologize (about my food having sat there for 10 minutes...and for the cookies). He made sure they made a new batch and her personally brought them to our table. So I gave them a 2 rating instead of 3 because the manager did apologize and he gave us an extra cookie. But it’s ridiculous that their staff don’t know when they see a mobile order receipt for tabletop service, they’re supposed to actually take the tray of food to the table listed on the receipt. There were many unhappy customers. Many waited 10-20 minutes for simple orders. This location was a disaster. Also the garbages were overflowing in...
Read moreMy wife and I went through the drive thru to get dinner for our daughter, who unfortunately was suffering at home with an earache infection, a double cheeseburger meal with a strawberry banana smoothie and large fries. We also ordered a dollar drink, an apple pie and a large tap water with ice for ourselves. After paying, we went to the 2nd window to receive our food. We got 3 drinks and the food. We asked about the smoothie-which had not been given as yet. We were told by the woman it was not a part of the order, while being given a copy of the bill where it clearly stated that it was ordered as part of the meal. We get home and gave my stepdaughter her meal and start making our own dinner. A couple of minutes later she comes to thank us for thinking of her but says the burger was so wrong she could not eat it and felt badly that we had wasted the money getting it for her. I ended up eating the burger after my dinner. How wrong was it, you ask? Well, you would think that a cheeseburger would have cheese on it, it didn't. The burger itself had only onions and lettuce, not pickles and ketchup, as was ordered and as was on the wrapper that the burger was given in. My stepdaughter has had similar issues in the past, not only with this location. She would have the exact same meal and have to emphasize she wants her cheese burger with cheese. Saying you wish to have a cheeseburger, you would think, means that you want cheese. Absolutely mind blowing. So essentially with her meal, all they got correct was the large fries. I've got one word for all of this:...
