The reviews for this place have always been inconsistent for as long as I can remember. My friends and I were iffy on coming but the all you can eat deal got the best of us since it’s hard to find something similar unless it’s KBBQ in the GTA. Sadly we absolutely regret ever stepping in. First impressions: parking isn’t too bad, but place looks run down, staff looks like they kind of do a bit of everything which felt a little chaotic especially since we came in during a rush. Was asked by a few different girls if we’ve been helped yet and took forever to get a table even though we saw some booths open just sitting with dirty dishes. Our table wasn’t cleaned very well, ketchup bottles and shakers were SO sticky, the ladies restroom was probably the cleanest part about the restaurant. Walking through the bar just to get to the toilet I figured a lot of sleazy old drunks gather here so that was kind of off putting. All of us ordered AYCE wings, I liked that there was a good variety of flavors to choose from but $24 per person for such low quality food is just not it. The bone in wings were dry/burnt so I tried my luck with the boneless and I felt sick after eating those. Both tasted like dirty oil. My friends weren’t impressed either. No more fries after the first round unless you pay for extra is a joke. Plus service seems slow unless you’re ordering alcohol… why does it take so long to get more water for and even longer to get paid out? Won’t be back.

1st and Last Time: Ordered food via SkiptheDishes. Food smelled, looked and tasted burned. Can't imagine receiving such a poor quality of service even though they have good ratings online. Called to notify and talked to the guy who cooked it. Said that that's how they cook the wings, bakes them for 7mins, and the oil on the wings will make the wings dry. After I told him that I already spoke to Skip, he hang the call. Unprofessional and not worth your money. Worst part is Skip is only willing to refund 50% of the cost for the wings because they want to help their shareholders and restaurant partners. Won't be using both Skip and St Louis' services again. Pic added for proof.

Its better than a 4. More like 4.2 Great location. Very fun staff with a great personality. Food is mostly fried, and they do it well. Wings without sauce have a naturally great flavour. I also had ribs. Good as well. I'm just not a huge rib person. You can add any sauce from about 20 options to either order, which h makes it fun. I ordered the Palaa sauce which was hot. Not the hottest but fun. Habanero's and flavour. To best describe this place, its a casual bar with a good food atmosphere. The famous creamy dill sauce comes in pre pack little containers which i would prefer fresh when dining in. The staff, location and wings are the star. Stay with that and its great.

Disappointing Service Experience – Would Not Recommend

We visited this restaurant on a Tuesday and were greeted and seated by a different server, who was polite and welcoming. Shortly after, our main server Kamilla took over our table. We asked about the all you can eat wings deal, and she informed us about it. She also mentioned there was a Tuesday special that might be a better option, which we appreciated. We decided that three out of the four of us would go with the all you can eat deal, while I chose the Tuesday special.

From that point on, the experience became uncomfortable. Kamilla repeatedly reminded us that we couldn’t share food or switch flavours, something we clearly understood and agreed to from the beginning. It felt unnecessary and excessive to keep hearing it throughout the meal.

I had made a specific request regarding how I wanted my wings prepared. When the food arrived, that request was not followed. When I brought it up, Kamilla said, “At least you have half of them the way you wanted,” which came off as rude and dismissive. There was no apology or offer to correct the issue, even though I was paying for a meal that wasn’t made to my liking.

Later, when my husband asked for another round of wings, Kamilla asked if she could take the remaining fries. I politely told her to leave them, but she responded again in a sharp tone, reminding us not to share. It felt like she was accusing us of something we weren’t doing. She kept walking by, staring at our table, and even seemed to be talking about us to her coworkers. It felt invasive and very uncomfortable.

At one point, she asked if I was still working on my plate. I explained I couldn’t eat it because it wasn’t made as requested, but instead of offering to help, she just said “should I take it then?!” Again, I asked her to leave it, but the attitude continued.

The overall service from Kamilla was poor, rude, unprofessional, and far from welcoming. We felt watched and judged throughout the entire meal. While the food itself was okay, the experience was completely overshadowed by the service. If this is the standard of customer care at this location, I wouldn’t recommend dining here. A respectful and courteous attitude should be the minimum expectation, and sadly, that was not met...

We visited the St. Louis Bar & Grill near Dundas & Winston Churchill and everything went downhill from the start. We had to seat ourselves, and there was only one overwhelmed waitress managing the entire inside section. She came back three times to confirm our order, repeatedly asking about the dressing for one of the salads even though we clearly said we wanted the default. She still placed the order with balsamic and we had to correct her again on the third check-in.

We asked for steamed vegetables for our toddler—a simple request—and had to remind the waitress three separate times to check with the kitchen. After nearly 30 minutes, we were told they couldn’t do it.

My dad requested ranch dressing and clearly stated it multiple times, but garlic was brought out each time instead. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken, but the chicken was forgotten. When it was added, it came back in 2 minutes, looked and smelled off, so I sent it back and didn’t reorder. Thankfully, this was removed from the bill.

The wings ordered as medium were definitely mild. We told the waitress multiple times, and instead of addressing the issue, we were just brought an extra side of hot sauce—which ended up being way too hot and not a solution. The manager came over and, rather than resolving the issue, argued with us, brought both sauces for us to taste (they were identical), and refused to comp the wings. He insisted he was the owner, manager, and chef, and had 15 years of experience, but that doesn’t excuse the poor service or mishandling of our concerns.

To top it all off, we had to ask four times for cutlery after being served our food, and the waitress wouldn’t honor the happy hour pricing on a beer, charging $6 instead of the promised $4.

Between the errors, the lack of service, the attitude from management, and the refusal to take accountability, we won’t be returning. Not...

I've been an avid fan of St Louis wings for a few years now. First time at this location. Service was slow (apprarently a lot of people showed up at the same time as us) and took approximately 50 minutes to get 2 x 1lb wings and fries + 1 kids wings and fries

Wings were fine (although the hotter than hell that was ordered had hardly any sauce which disappointed my wife), but the fries tasted off somehow. From the appearance, they looked the same but tasted like they had gone kind of cold but physically were still warm. Did not taste like the fries of usually did. After asking our server about it, we asked to have them replaced. Was told that they were fresh, but that St Louis was having issues with their regular supplier. They offered to replace it with something else, but we wanted the fries. The owner / cook came out to explain. Was really nice about it. Made new fries, but unfortunately, they still did not taste the same.

For some reason, I noticed changes lately with the food of this chain. The hot sauce has changed, along with the fries.

Disappointing. Now, my wife and I are thinking of giving this chain a break for a while and will start hunting for a new chicken wing place for a while.

Hopefully, this chain gets back to doing wings they used to do soon.

Additional note to St Louis (all restaurant locations) Stop being so stingy with the St Louis sauce. 1 has never been enough, need a minimum of 2. Never understood this decision to only give 1 small container of...
