Tahini's — Restaurant in Oakville

I visited this location with my wife last night and overall, it was a decent experience. The food was well-seasoned and had a great flavour to it, which we both enjoyed. Additionally, we appreciated that the restaurant was open late, which gave us the opportunity to grab a late night bite.

However, there were a few downsides to our visit. Firstly, the portions were very small - we both felt like we could have used a bit more food. Secondly, despite asking for a mild level of spice, the employee put an excessive amount of hot sauce on our shawarmas, making it quite challenging to eat. We found ourselves reaching for water repeatedly, which took away from the enjoyment of the meal.

Additionally, we ordered a salad which the employee was going to provide with no dressing. When we asked for salad dressing to be added, he seemed surprised that we made such a request. While the salad itself was fresh and tasty, we were disappointed with the employee's attitude towards accommodating our simple request.

Overall, while we enjoyed the flavour of the food and appreciated the late opening hours, the small portions, excessive use of hot sauce, and lack of accommodation for our request for salad dressing were a bit...

We recently had a meal at Tahini’s restaurant in Oakville and I wanted to share my experience. The staff was warm and welcoming and the restaurant was very clean, which was greatly appreciated.

However, the food didn’t live up to my expectations. We ordered the Chicken Royal Family platter. Sadly, the shawarma didn’t have the authentic taste I was hoping for. The garlic sauce was also a disappointment as it lacked the usual garlic punch. The tahini, unfortunately, did not have the characteristic taste one would expect.

Another thing that stood out was the excessive layers of bread in each wrap which overpowered the fillings. On the bright side, the French fries were delicious and one of the highlights of our meal.
