Dan Dan Asian Diner — Restaurant in Ontario

I actually wrote this restaurant a 5 star review a couple years ago. Since then, we've noticed the food quality decreasing. Tonight, the chicken in both our meals was not Edible. Tough, chewy, I don't even know that it was chicken! The rice was mushy, an off flavour. I called and spoke to David, who claimed to be the manager. He told me the chicken was 'likely' overcooked, he tried leftover rice there, told me it was fine. Amazing customer service. He also told me because we ordered through Skip there was nothing he would do. 'Next time, order direct through us' Next time? No thanks. Hopefully they pull it together before someone gets very sick from their horrible food!

Nice response from the restaurant. They took no accountability! Did they miss the part, I gave them great reviews when the food was good. It has been deteriorating. Don't acknowledge it. You have lost us as customers. Because we ordered through Skip you refused to make it right....

This is easily our new favorite. We have come a few times for dine in and take out, and every time it has been extremely quick to place our order and to get our food. The food comes out hot and you can taste the freshness in every bite. You can tell the veggies are very fresh as well from the color and the crispness. There is tons of flavor as well. Very reasonably priced for their combos for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try. The staff is extremely friendly and greets you when you walk in as well, which is hard to find anymore. The entire place is very clean and the tables are cleaned...

I love Dan Dan's food always fresh and delicious, so I hope that what they gave me today in my order was an isolated fact, the gravy sauce was damaged, the sweet red sauce was fermented and its taste and smell was like alcohol, and full of bubbles. My daughters were the ones who realized, other than that part of the noodles were raw, Dan Dan I don't know what happened to you today it is unacceptable to sell dangerously damaged food, one of my daughters has been with stomach problems, thank God she realized the different flavor that these sauces had, I hope the soup has not been in bad condition because she...
