Came in last week for dinner after running errands downtown. We ordered a Beast Burger Combo and a Pulled Pork Burger Combo. We sat for a while waiting for our food, although from what I understand, the burgers are grilled to order, and it was slow, so we had fresh fries put in the fryer as well. The food was good, although the mushrooms on the Beast were a bit overpowering. The atmosphere is nice, location was clean and well kept. Service was friendly. Pricing is reasonable, although a little more pricey than more of a traditional fast food location (everything was between $17-$21 for combos). Overall, it's a nice spot, I’ll definitely be back to try some other menu options. I'd recommend giving here a try

I recently tried the first halal smoked place in Kingston, and I absolutely loved it. The overall experience was great, with well-made pattys and a tasty sauce that complemented the dishes perfectly. The fries were salty enough, and the poutine was decent, though not exceptional. The churros were a nice touch, served warm and delightful. The dine-in area was clean and well-organized, adding to the pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, I'm thrilled to have such a unique and enjoyable halal option in Kingston. Just finding parking can be challenging.

We got to Big Smoke Burger and it did not disappoint. Happy that we have a halal burger joints now. So they have both halal and non-halal so when you order you have to specify that you want halal. There is a separate grill exclusively for the halal stuff. Boys got classic cheeseburgers and I went fancy. They have a rosemary garlic mayo which makes your burger fancy. 😉 I already know what I’m trying on my next visit :)

I was really excited to try this place because it's super convenient for me and I'd probably have gone often if it worked out. But I definitely will not be going back. I ordered a takeout burger and when I got back to eat it after picking it up, I cut into it and it looked red and raw in the middle. I called to let the women who served me know, and she argued that they cook their burgers to 165 degrees. I maintained that mine was still undercooked and she agreed to remake it, so I went back. When I arrived, she hadn't started to prepare anything yet and suggested twice that she would cook me one burger only. Except, I had ordered two patties and they were together, bunless, in the same container, covered in sauce and toppings. At this point I just asked for my money back instead of eating a partially, possibly contaminated meal. However, she was not able to provide me a refund as it seems she didn't know how do so with the cash register equipment. She called her boss for help who didn't pick up and then she offered me a "discount", which i declined as i certainly wasnt going to purchase anything else. My meal that I didn't end up eating cost me $20. I feel like the woman who was serving me perhaps just wasn't trained properly on how to cook the burgers, work the till, or offer customer service. Just be mindful, if your try this place and have an issue, they may not make it right or refund your order and you may be...

Well, a group of us tried out the burgers and a chicken burger. Place was empty. No cooking happening. We thought "this is good". Not! 5 hamburger combo's and 1 chicken burger combo ordered. Okay, no other people in the place, food should be cooked properly. Not 1, not 2 but all 5 hamburgers were burned to the point of tasting like charcoal. Dry as they were over cooked. The chicken burger was over cooked. The "crispy" chicken was cooked to a crisp. Biting through it was disgusting. Fries were meh. Free refills on pop. Only 1 person working. Shortly before leaving a second employee arrived, wiped his nose with his hands and proceeded to serve customers who arrived. Food quality was less than edible. Hygiene of workers questionable. Definitely don't recommend this place. Will not...
