Burger King — Restaurant in Ontario

Fast food, not cheap food. I eat at Burger King regularly. Stopped in for dinner, place is not busy. I guess I got lucky and arrived as a new batch of fries came out because at least they were warm. I always order a side onion ring, they were stone cold and actually getting hard. Obviously sitting under the warmer for a long time. The whopper wasn’t much better. I really don’t understand how hard it is to put a patty into a bun and garnish it decently. It was put together so sloppy, way too much mayo, pickles just jammed in a pile and a giant hunk of the actual root bottom of a head of lettuce. See picture. As for the drink fountain, no ice in the bin at all. It’s one that you manually fill so it’s not like the ice machine was broken. I told the lady at the counter they had no ice. I got and “Oh” and then she went back to doing whatever she was doing. Never filled the ice bin and left it the entire time I was there eating. To be clear, there were 2 customers in the place so it’s not like they didn’t have time to do it or had to rush to put my burger together. This place is sad. $17 for a sloppy burger with a giant chunk of inedible lettuce and a warm drink that is over feeding the syrups as well. Employees are apathetic and clearly don’t care. It was 9pm and I really wanted a chocolate shake, went to the drive thru and the first thing we’re told is that “their fryers are already turned off” so we can’t order certain items, okay fine so I go to order my shake and I’m then told that their “shake machine is down due to needing to clean it since they were closing in A FEW MINUTES”. Like what?! So I end up getting some jalapeño bites to try since I can’t get my shake. It came to $4.80, I gave $5.00, waited a while and then got handed my food. Only to realize I never got my 20 cents in change back 😡 it might not be a lot of money but if they do that to many orders in a day i do wonder how much extra they (or the employees) make. By the way their sign on the drive thru window says they are open till 10pm! Lol the lady said they were closing “in a few minutes” when it was 9:02pm. Arrived to this Burger King at around 8:05am Saturday July 18. They open at 8am. Have breakfast here six days a week. This morning, walked in as I normally do and ordered coupon #9355, with the exception today upsized the hash browns. Lady working was supposedly the store manager. She couldn’t find any coffee filters, apparently they didn’t have any, doubt it. Also wasn’t even given the right size of hash browns. Was I supposed to walk the thirty minutes back since I don’t drive. Spend near $200 a month at this Burger King and today was such terrible, horrid service from the store manager that I deleted the Burger King app from my device.
