Café 377 — Restaurant in Ontario

Well, I will say the rooms at Caesar's are very nice. Casino is beautiful and quite tight. Then there is the food. Spago and Nero's are quite good. Cafe 377? Supposedly they serve delicious food. Unless you are used to getting your meals at Dollar Tree and heating them up, it is a far cry from delicious. For two of us the bill was $70 before tip. He got the all day breakfast complete with microwaved sausage. I got the chicken wings (nuggets) with an unholy barbecue sauce - slightly dressed up ketchup. $14. Fries were additional and came in a paper carton and were neither hot nor tasty. Since we'd been before, I knew kind of what to expect so I also ordered brownies. Each brownie is missing one bite. Need I say more? Unappealing food served by unhappy people. Oh, and then to top it off we get scolded for taking the wrong tray which looked exactly the same as the right one we did get. BTW, our pager went off to let us know our food was ready. If you do order from there, pictures (theirs) are deceiving, and I suspect thr picture may taste better. I suddenly have a new appreciation for McDonald's. Caesar's you use to have great food. Can't blame Covid for everything. If you're going to take my money at least please feed me well. Terrible food throughout. I thought I'd give it another chance, and another chance...terrible each time. Food is served as if they went to the prepared food section of the grocery store and stuck it on a tray for you. I ordered a hot dog and they ask if you want ketchup, etc on it, so I say yes, thinking they would put it on, but I got packets instead. The hotdog was hard, as if it had been on one of those rollers way too long, served on a stale bun. Tried the lasagna, it was in a foil container, and like left overs. The top and corners we're hard. Of all the disappointments though, this was the best of the worst. Tried again with soup of the day and a chicken wrap. Well, the wrap was not very tasty, and the portion hardly worth 10 bucks. Maybe 3rd times the charm, and tried the pizza. I think this is the only thing that comes on a plate! Those little frozen pizzas you pop in the microwave are way tastier than this. Sauce is terrible. I was not impressed with the worker handling everyone's toast bare handed, right in front of counter for all to see. Spoke to manager - responded that can't force workers to wear gloves. Are there no standards that employers can expect from workers? I told him, customers can't see what goes on in the kitchen but this - this should NOT be done, in clear site for all to see. Mentioned that after handling everyone's toast, employee is also touching receipts, machines, etc. Not a good look and this could be totally fixed if management wanted to. Did not sit well with me at all. Rest of experience was okay - atmosphere is nice, decent seating, employees...
