Typically had an amazing experience at all Spagos locations, this time however it wasn’t the 5 star service I am accustomed to here. Waitress was amazing, she was available, helpful and polite. She even had the bar whip me up a chocolate espresso martini which was extremely yummy! Was craving their mussels in white wine sauce and arancini. Boy was I disappointed. The arancini you could tell even in the background of the white sangria pic it was over fried. It was a darker golden brown and when you bit into it, you could clearly tell it was burnt as it tasted like burnt cheese. It’s already precooked ingredients, it only needs to be fried for a very few minutes to a nice golden brown. I didn’t even feel like complaining as it was my girl friends bday dinner. She even warned me that they were burnt the last time she ordered a couple weeks ago but I didn’t listen, wish I would have. I ordered the mussels as my entree, this was also over cooked. You could see lil pieces of black in the sauce which also was over cooked and thick. And it was served to me the same way at the Cabana location a couple months ago and I had to send it back even than as it was over cooked to the point the sauce was thick and burnt. Didn’t even feel like complaining this time. UPDATE: After seeing my review the owner Peter reached out to me and did the utmost to rectify this situation, he didn’t just offer me a free meal he did even better than that, he actually went to all the locations and went over cooking times for the arancini balls and made sure that they were being fried properly and deliciously. He went above and beyond in his customer service and his dedication to his establishment! Shows he genuinely cares for all his patrons especially his regulars. I will continue to frequent all 3 locations and highly recommend Spagos for a wonderful dining experience!

The first time I saw Spago, I was marveled at how the restaurant seemed to be perpetually busy all the time. We visited during the weekday, and although half the restaurant was not in use, the place still felt packed. Service could be slow, especially if your table comes after larger tables, as the restaurant prefers to completely serve one table at a time. Firstly, I found the complementary salad to be amazing. The arugula was paired well with the balsamic glaze, and I found myself wiping my plate dry in record time. I was let down by the bread, though, which puzzles me, because other reviewers raved about it. Our bread was lacking in flavour, and the roasted garlic did not add much to it. We also ordered both kinds of calamari appetizers, but we found the grilled calamari to be superior by far when compared with the fried variety. We ordered the wrong pizza, since I found the potatoes on the funghi pizza to be a bit funky. The Lasagna Bianca was okay, comforting if you need something familiar. The Sacchetti came with subtle truffle flavour, which gave the pasta a nice kick with every mouthful. But the star of the night was the Linguine Di Mare. The white wine sauce was complex, and the seafood was generous (plenty of mussels and scallops). I would say this dish was the favourite of the table.

Spago is my fav place. One of the few italian restaurant who offers pizza with cream sauce. We ordered pizza salmon cream sauce, it tasted soo good and cost $20+ , v crisp edges and their pizza is wood fired oven made. You can see the pizza maker insert the pizza into oven. The size is large and you can request for pizza box to bring home your leftover, they dont charge you for the leftover box or plastic bag. My other fav is the grilled calamari with salad and sprinkled sauce on it, yummy and filling for sure with sweet taste and option to squeeze lemon. We tried something new this tine, the vegetarian manicotti di casa, it has spinach cheese tomato filling with blush sauce (tomato & cream mix- taste is like rose sauce), its nice sauce because its not too sour like the tomato based. They also give free bread with roast garlic. Overall experience is awesome.our server Nick is awesome come in frequently to check on us. If you plan to come on weekend evening, make a reservation in advance, its always full. I wish they have more space during weekend.they even ask you if you are sharing and offer to split the salad for you. The pricing average is $20 totally worth it; the price varies quality. Every time i visit windsor, i have to come here.

Good food, tough to get a table without a reservation on a Saturday night. Service was spectacular, and the drinks were delicious too. No IPAs, though. The house salad was a bowl of lettuce tossed in a tasty vinaigrette, but lacked any other ingredients. I definitely expected a tomato or something. Pizza was pretty good, I chose pizza because the portions of anything else are too small. Wife had a veal dish, she liked it. Veal was very tender and tasty. Forgot to get them to scan my total rewards card and they don't ask about it. Should be a standard practice for the casino location. Should have taken more photos. Only took one of the salad because it was funny.

There was a wedding happening right by us, so the drum gave us all a headache eventually. Food was just ok, but edible enough. Service was great. Update: We went back on March 11th, and it was delightful. The food was amazing & we had a pretty good service. Went back on Aug. 18th - we hot wedged in in between 2 other tables so close to us, we felt like we were having dinner with the 2 other couples. The rest of the restaurant was filled with girls celebrating their birthdays, upcoming weddings, etc. So the entire staff was occupied serving them. We barely saw our server. I think this was our last time at this place.

I don't know where to start. WONDERFUL DINING EXPERIENCE! 1) The atmosphere is young, trendy, and completely suitable for older folks like me. Happy is its vibe. 2) There were so many delicious things on the menu that we had a hard time choosing what to eat. Our waiter was SO accommodating that we got several dishes as small plates. 3) The food was actually so dang good that I forgot to take pictures of our multiple courses. 4) Appetizer of stuffed eggplant was FANTASTIC! 5) Sacchetti was BEYOND WORDS! 6) Chicken parm was tender and SO flavorful! 7) Garlic focaccia was AMAZING! 8) Birthday tiramisu was DECADENT!
