Shanfields-Meyers Jewellery & China Shop — Local services in Ontario

Kinda crazy this place still exists. An unfortunate waste of beautiful downtown windsor. Store hours are ridiculous and only open a few days a week. 80% of the store is closed off to the public and you can only look around at the stuff in the front room. The front room is filled with so many boxes to trip over, garbage and random stuff like bikes. I don’t know why they don’t put that garbage in the back rooms that are closed off to the public. Staff said if you want to see the stuff in the back you have to find it online and show them so they can go get it. Their website is practically unusable and does not have everything in store. Ontop of that, there are signs in store that say you have to go online to find prices, it makes no sense especially since their website isn’t usable on mobile phones. I don’t know how they stay in business, they have done everything in their power to make it unwelcoming...

This is a great shop to find amazing gifts for someone really special. The staff are very friendly and courteous. You can walk around and spend hours looking at wonderful and unique items and you will be very excited to at least buy something.
