Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Ontario

First time I believe I every decided to write a review. Johnny Rockets December 10th, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., located at Casino. I would not even give Johnny Rockets a single star it fails beyond belief. It was by far the worst food I ever had tasted at any restaurant establishment and I said tasted because I could not even eat what I ordered. 1st, my $15.99 Burger was not cooked, raw through out the beef. 2nd The burger was so greasy I didn't know If I was eating meat or drinking oil from a burger. 3rd Cheese Tots were cold and hard not cooked. 4th, the fries were cold and mixed with burnt fries. 5th, Our appetizers came after, yes that right, after getting the burger. 6th. Waited about 5 minutes aftering sitting to be acknowledged and it was not that busy. 7th. Our burger came within minutes of ordering it, and that speaks volumes. 8th, Ordered sprite and got what tasted like carbinated water just to order gingerale, why management failed to check the level of sprite. 9th, my guest ate a veggie burger which tasted like bacon and hence cross contamination at it's worst. For a $62.00 meal and a tip of $10.00 on top, the only thing good about my experience was leaving the tip and leaving the place to go straight to the bathroom. The food was so disgusting that my stomach became upset, left 3/4 of the burger, the fries and the cheese tots. I will never eat at that specific establishment in the Casino ever again. Our server was awesome! Unfortunately, the salad I ordered had rotten leaves and it turned me off to eating anything. I let our server know, who notified his manager who immediately said, and indirectly "that came in today". He obviously wanted us to hear what he said but wouldn't address it directly to us. Our server came back and said his manager would not take it off the bill but would provide a 10% discount. I agreed to speak to the manager. When he came to our table, he said nothing and just stared at me. When I explained what happened he immediately became defensive and said, why are you the only one saying this. No one else has complaint. His demeanor was argumentative and very standoffish. I told him that I had two bites and asked why I was only getting a discount and not a full refund. He kept repeating, loudly and impatiently, that no one else complained. I asked him why he was getting so upset as I was cordial but questioned why I would be charged for someone I did not eat or want. He finally said he would take it off our bill. I have never had a manager speak to me with such aggression and disdain. Our server kept apologising and I appreciated his sincerity in addressing my concerns and told him none of this was his fault. I did let him know that I would be lodging a complaint, and judging by his face I could tell that this was not the first time he treated a customer so poorly. We were very disappointed at Johnny Rockets at the casino in Windsor, we decided to have a quick bite before a show, i am allergic to black pepper so i asked the waitress if i can have my sandwich with no black pepper, to which she said oh i don't think we can do that, we are very busy. So i asked if she could please ask them as i cant eat it, she went to the open kitchen (in full view of us) and just stood there for a minute and then came back and said I don't think we can, she didn’t even ask, i spoke to the manager on duty and she said no we can’t do that we have a small grill and they use pepper on the grill so they couldn’t accommodate me allergy or not they couldn't clear a small spot to grill the chicken, so they don't have allergy procedures. We should have just paid for the drinks and gone elsewhere but we didn’t so I ordered a tuna melt which was full of onions and had black pepper in it which i discovered on taking a bite. So I had a few of my husband’s fries which came at least ten minutes before our sandwiches came. At any rate we will never go to eat there again. And i just wanted people to know if you have any allergies you need to steer...
