Wow... Where to start with our disappointment. My wife was in Cornwall for an event, so I thought let's order sushi so we don't have to cook. I ordered online through their website just before 3 for a 4:30 pickup. Upon arrival, our order had been missed which makes me wonder why have online ordering in the first place if it just gets ignored. My wife then had to wait 45 min for our order to be prepared. While eating, everything was alright until my wife bit into a large chuck on bone in the chicken teriyaki roll which obviously turned her off.... If that wasn't bad enough, while chatting over dinner, she then tells me that while waiting, she was watching the girl behind the counter messing with her hair while she was preparing soups which consisted of her grabbing ingredients and dumping it in the soup.... After touching her hair! So now, while eating, I'm wondering if I'll be coming across an unwanted strand... All in all and after spending nearly $80, it was a bad experience and will be the last time we order...
Read moreI was hungry and too lazy to cook so I went for what I crave most; since my dad use to be a Japanese chef…Sushi & Sashimi was what I craved most! I had ordered from I love sushi many times before; but what I’ve been noticing is the slow slumping of the quality of their seafood. I’m always one to give more than 3 chances when a restaurant disappoints…but this being the 6th time I’ve done a take-out/pickup order; and have been half pleased. This was the last straw and I will never order from them again(sad to say). Just to give the people an understanding of what I usually order…for me & my wife I usually spend $75-$…125. Today I order $95 of what you see in the photo. The sashimi taste not fresh and just bland…the sushi roll was half eaten, because I couldn’t take the disappointment anymore…the tempura just stale and disappointing. I hope they take a step back and put more efforts in improving their quality before they lose something that was...
Read moreDine in, take out, or delivery. You can't miss out on trying such yummy food. We dined in and enjoyed the attentive service and friendly atmosphere. The food was quick to hit the table even though online orders kept coming in. The store is small but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed looking at all the décor. The Japanese scallions were delightful, and the yummy roll lived up to its name. The seaweed salad is the best we've had in a long while. We didn't order a poke bowl, but that seemed to be a popular item with the online orders. We asked where to go for good sushi and were directed to Love Sushi and we were not disappointed. Update: My daughter and I ordered ahead and picked up some treats for her birthday. She got the BBQ Eel pizza (so good!) and I ordered the golden dragon roll (yum!) along with some tried and true dishes. This was my daughter's first experience and she is in love.
One year later and we still...
