Starbucks — Restaurant in Ontario

Went today to visit the latest Starbucks to open in my area. First impression, spacious, clean and welcoming. My friend and I were waiting in line to order when one of the Baristas who was not busy opened another cash in order to take our orders. Very impressed that she took the initiative to keep the line from backing up. What was very gratifying to see was the Store Manager taking a moment to recognize what the Barista did to keep things moving. That is a perfect example of Leadership.

Was introduced to the Store Manager. She is very outgoing friendly. She wants to ensure that the Customers enjoy their experience at this Starbucks. She is encouraging feedback and wants to ensure dialogue with the Customer base. Very, very impressive. This type of attitude, team work and Customer treatment should ensure that this Starbucks will do well for years to come.

Very disappointed with the service at this location yesterday April 15th at 9pm, the barista was extremely rude. My wife and I went for two matcha green tea lattes which came out to $10.74, the debit machine was down so we had to pay with cash so i proceeded to pay the with a $10 bill, 2 quarters, 2 dimes and 4 pennies since thats all i had. The barista refused to accept my payment due to the pennies. When i told her i dont have any other change and she refused to give us our drinks even after i told her im a frontline worker. She says Starbucks ROUNDS UP. Luckily i had an emergency $50 bill in my car. Starbucks was so generous during the pandemic to frontline worker and this barista does not belong at starbucks and hopefully she doesnt display this attitude to another customers during this...

It was an extremely busy Saturday; the Mall was super loaded due to the upcoming second lockdown. This was my first visit here, when I entered some students were taking up the whole place; they were 9 or 10 (vs the 5 allowed) occupying all tables and consuming nothing. The costumers buying their expensive beverages were not allowed to sit anywhere in the shop. When I asked to talk to the manger, I was put to wait endlessly than told that the manager "is not here" and also a very young and "stand up" staff member told me that "unfortunately this is their policy".
