I don’t often go to a restaurant to eat if I can help it. It’s usually takeout for me since school is taking up most of my time (pun intended), and I absolutely have no time to cook something decent other than cup noodles. As a regular customer of Choi’s Rolls, I was surprised when I found out that Sushi Leehan had taken over. Not every menu item was the exact same as Choi’s, but each had its own splash inspired by the city of Kingston. It was something new and refreshing. My favourite is the Queen’s Dragon, which I have ordered multiple times in the past couple of visits, as seen in the attached photos. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, making small talk here and there. I’m usually in a hurry to grab food and go, but for once, I feel at ease when I come to eat, I’m not in a rush. Thank you, Sushi Leehan, I look forward to continuing being a regular. :)

I ordered the Philadelphia Roll and Shitake Roll, and the food was neat and delicious. I was also impressed by the Sushi Leehan stamp on the takeout bag. Sushi Leehan is a takeout specialty sushi restaurant located near McDonald's in downtown. Before becoming Sushi Leehan, it is said that this place was home to Choi’s Roll. Although Sushi Leehan primarily offers takeout, they also have tables available for dining in. This newly opened place has been beautifully and cleanly renovated, and the food is excellent. Most importantly, the prices are very reasonable compared to other sushi places in the area. I will be coming here often! Thank you!

We've been here a few times now and every time has been perfect. The staff are so friendly and they really care about your experience. The sushi is so fresh and delicious while still being very reasonably priced. Definitely in our top 3 sushi places for YGK. I highly recommend the "Kingston" roll.

Very disappointed with our order. We ordered a platter and the maki was just terrible. The rolls were falling apart. The rice was very undercooked and chewy. And they use Rice Crispies instead of panko crumbs which just makes them soggy. I will say the fish was pretty fresh, but that’s all I can say. Also the order only took 10 mins to send out, so maybe they made them hours before we ordered. That would be more accurate to the quality we received. Unfortunately we will not be ordering again...
