5:22 - Currently sitting on the patio, it’s been about an hour (got here just after our 4:30 class) and our order hasn’t been taken. Many people have come and gone, yet still no acknowledgment we exist. It is also not busy at all and there seems to be more than enough servers.

5:30 - Update: our order was just taken and there was no apology for making us wait this long.

5:35 - food arrived, we ordered spin dip.

5:37 - first Stella arrived

5:59: - waitress pried the chips out of my hands. Yes i understand there was no dip left but there were plenty of chips.

6:32 - ordered second Stella and asked for the bill

6:40 - second Stella arrived

6:50 - chugging Stella to make sure I get a good spot in grease pole line

7:01 - exiting pub (one of the gates was bolted so we had to awkwardly walk to the next one)

My friends and I came and got 2 rounds of beers (canned, not tap), it took 2 and a half hours, almost 3 hours to get in and out. I was the only one to get anything to eat, but they gave us the wrong menu and I was served something completely different. When I said it wasn’t what I ordered they took it, but couldn’t have a replacement because they didn’t have what I ordered. But because I’d taken a bite before realizing it wasn’t the right item, I was still charged for something I didn’t want and could only eat a few bites of before they took it away. Had an amazing experience at Queen’s Pub thanks to our incredible server, Simi. From the moment we sat down, Simi was warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being overbearing. She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure our drinks were always full and our food came out hot and fresh.

It’s rare to come across someone who can make you feel genuinely taken care of — Simi went above and beyond and made our night special. Friendly, fast, and professional — she’s a true gem and a big reason we’ll be coming back to Queen’s.
