Jina Sushi is one of my favourite sushi restaurants in Kingston. Food, price, service, and atmosphere are all great. I would definitely recommend. In terms of food, I find their sushi quality really great. I usually get the maki boat (a maki combo for two people) with a friend and always enjoy the variety and quality of the rolls. For pricing, in my opinion, their prices are on the lower side of average but if you get the maki boat like I do, I think you get even more for your money. Every time I've went to eat-in, the service is always quick and the servers are very friendly. The first time I have ever went, I had a lot of help from the serve upr to choose what to get, and they were patient and helpful. Lastly, atmosphere and location. The atmosphere within Jina is warm and comfortable. I can sit and talk with a friend for a long time while we eat and feel right at home. The location of Jina doesn't offer any convenient places to park, but it's very close to Queen's, which is a plus for students looking for a nice meal. Overall, Jina Sushi is fantastic. 5/5

Reviewing the Spicy Red Hot (basically a spicy salmon, avocado roll), never had Maki size this big, 1 maki roll is the size of two regular sized rolls elsewhere. This is my second time trying this place, around $16 after tax. The first time the chef had doused the plate in sauce and it was overwhelming, this time I asked for light on the sauce as you can see. Very flavourful, and if you don't have a big appetite, after six rolls you're full and can save two for later. Comes with Miso soup (not pictured) and it was flavourful. In comparison to sushi barda (on Princess St.), I'll come back here again.

This used to be my favourite sushi place back when it was behind St. Lawrence. Still love the sushi; it’s fresh and the pieces are insanely huge. The price however, is not for the feint of heart, I paid more for what you see in my photo than I paid for three trays of sushi at another place. Can’t be a regular here anymore with prices like that so now it’s more of a once in a while type spot.

Fabulous atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Fair value given the portion, care in preparation, food aesthetics and seemingly fresh ingredients. Hopeful my experience was a one off being this was my first visit here; but the seaweed paper in the roll musn't have been prepped properly because our rolls had a very rubbery texture that proper sushi should absolutely not have; our meal proved a very unpleasant challenge to finish. I regret not bringing this to the attention of the waitress and provide a fair opportunity to correct the order as she did expresse genuine care in...
