Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Ontario

Before you hear my hunger-fueled rant I want to say I understand that mistakes happen under stress and that ok, however I feel like the staff today handled their mistakes in an unprofessional way. I am disappointed and although my message does sound rude (sorry) it's mainly a message toward whoever made the schedule today to better organize their establishment (bc I know for a fact they scheduled only one fully trained person and every other staff is new bc I can't believe any person there has been working for over a month. If you are you should re-evaluate your job bc that's insanely bad work you're putting in) We're on a timed bus toward Toronto, we have 20mins before we leave, so we order a simple Oreo Iced Cap and a donut. The bus drivers orders after us (also an iced cap), gets his order first. Then they do every order that came after us. We asked to get our stuff more quickly (bc we were first AND we're tight on time) and these guys really have the audacity to say "if you ordered through the app you have to wait". Bro I ordered with YOU in PERSON! You spoke to me first hand! Just say you forgot about me and do it quickly, don't just shove us at the back?? On top of it, AFTER I paid they said they didn't have the donut I wanted (took another one instead), then proceeds to drop my coffee (that part I get, mistakes happen under stress, however saying that our coffee is gonna take another 10 WHOLE MINUTES to make is INSANE) I left without a coffee and honestly idk if I'm gonna drop by again, I'd rather cross the street and go to A&W for a better service. I used to go to that Tim all the time when I travel to Toronto so I'm extremely disappointed about my experience today :( idk what happened but today's lunch staff is not it, I hope this...

When ever I go on a trip and take the Megabus I always arrive early anyways and I love going to my Tim's to have my coffee and a bite to eat. My only disappointment is that they don't make my favorite chicken salad anymore and when moving from Quebec to Ontario none of the Tim's here made egg salad sandwiches, another one of my favorites. My only complaint was that on my last visit, there was a girl who made me my lemonade and then gave it to me without even looking at me. She just extended her arm behind her as if it was too much of an effort to greet the customer! I did say thank you but with no reply back from her. Now this was on May 27th, 2019 around 2 pm. The girl was short, black and was working the drinks with takeout. At the time it wasn't even that busy. About a half hour later there was a tall, black worker who took over the drinks and had her prepare things like sandwiches instead as he was much more pleasant when dealing with customers.

I know everyone has bad days but she simply made it seem as if serving us was such a huge effort for her and that she was doing us all a favor as I saw she was the same with every customer. Now being a former Assistant Head Nurse if she has some sort of medical condition than maybe working at something like the sandwich station is a better fit for her.I wish her well.

2 older caucasian ladies (peaked in high school) working the counter this morning around 11am were so rude and acting incredibly unprofessional. Not only were they laughing to each other and passing off mocking comments toward one another while I was ordering, they didn’t even get my order right AND MORE NOTABLY made several racist remarks TO and ABOUT one of their coworkers. Making loud comments about his accent, mocking + doing impressions of something he said in quite the offensive manner, saying things like “Canada these days man” and “what’s happening to this country” — all while completely ignoring me trying to pay. This performance was loudly on display for all of the customers near the front. OH AND ANOTHER THING… the non-white woman who took my previous order at the counter before this was so great, being patient and helpful with me while i was indecisive + using upselling tactics and teaching me something about the food. Actually so shocking and ironic to see hypocritical “Canadian” behaviour like this, I feel so sorry for that man + the other coworkers who have to put up with that daily. 2 stars bc the first worker was a legend. …Bagel BELT was...
